NHG just responded to the same complaint with another Revdex.com (I presume in Colorado). *** *** and his wife/significant other *** *** sent in two separate claims on the same problem. NHG was told that if we did not cover their Washer claim that they were going to two (2) Revdex.com, The
State Attorney General's Office, going to file in Small Claims Court and that 1,000's of employees of Graebel Financial would get the word out that NHG was a negative experience for them. I guess that these two smart business people do not realize, that after years in the Home Warranty Business, we have not seen these kinds of attitudes when consumers do not get their way.The Washing Machine that was given to these consumers along with their home purchase. It was covered under NHG's Service Agreement. NHG did cover a part and labor to get the machine working again, and when that happened, ProServ told NHG that it was making a bad noise. It worked, but it made a bad noise. ProServ suggested that there is no way that this Washer just broke. They suggested that it had been in this condition long before NHG's Effective Dates. ProServ also said that there is no way, if it were they, that this Washing Machine should be covered, it was just old and worn out. Again, NHG paid approx$to get the Washer working again, and it does work. It just makes the same noise it made before we worked on it.Mr*** quotes a paragraph out of the Service Agreement that talks about "Pre-Existing/Unknown Condition". This is an added "optional coverage" that Mr*** chose not to add to his coverages. He needs to sit down and take a moment and read his coverages and call NHG if he does not understand them. If he had purchased this coverage, it may have made a difference.Thank you

NHG will retract the comment "many calls". Customer cancelled claim. NHG has settled with the customer for the parts and their amount(s)stated by the licensed contractor information.NO, this complaint did not cause NHG to send settlement. It will be sent in the time it takes to be verified and sent.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:NHG is not taking the Revdex.com consumer complaint process seriously.  The response is simply, see previous response.  A consumer complaint form has been mailed to the Utah Attorney General's office with supporting documentation to investigate NHG for deceptive business practices.  I am hoping that the Revdex.com can work with them to resolve this issue appropriately.  It is clear that NHG is putting no time or effort into resolving this issue.

I am rejecting this response because:The electrical contractor called me many times? I had only one voice message from them the next day. I had told NHG this fact already.Washer. No authorized parts available? As I told NHG already the contractor uses only one source for the parts. But the important point was that if NHG would have reimbursed me the $212 amount I detailed out I was willing to repair the washer myself. The part in question would have been one from the manufacturer. And no further charge to NHG for contractor labor costs.I will be receiving settlement? It took a complaint to the Revdex.com to get NHG to move on this.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  They have proposed to send me a check for the cost of the part, no labor, just materials.  This will be sufficient.  I am currently awaiting the check.

NHG responded to this claim back on the same date that it was posted.  Thank youTell us why here...

Two days after the [redacted] moved into their home, they called in a claim on there Refrigerator.  NHG had not been paid for the order and still has not received payment on this order.  NHG sent out a third party 'licensed" contractor and the contractor determined that the Refrigerator that...

the Sellers of the home left the [redacted] had a problem that pre-dated the effective date of NHG's Service Agreement.  It was a failing Condensor.  NHG is going to re-look at the claim once it is paid for and therefore have a real contract in place.  NHG will review all facts and respond to this complaint at that time.  Thank you

The [redacted]' have a $475.00 annual Service Agreement that includes a Washing Machine.  A/C Claim was covered at a cost of $735.00 to NHG.  Mr. [redacted] paid a $45.00 and some costs for maintenance totaling 585.00.  An electrical claim was called in and our contractor called many times...

to schedule an appointment and the [redacted]' cancelled the claim.  NHG made an error on Mr. [redacted]' Effective Dates and thought his contract had expired.  NHG was wrong and dispatched on their clothes washer.  The third party "licensed" contractor reported back to NHG that there were no authorized parts available and that a settlement check for those parts would be mailed out to him.  If Mr. [redacted] would read his Service Contract he would find that in the case of Manufacturers no t making parts for a specific product, NHG only settles in an amount of the parts only, no labor.  He will be receiving that settlement.  Everyone can find anything on the internet for parts, NHG only works with authorized manufacturers parts.  Thank you
