Tax on this vehicle was paid to the department of motor vehicles for this vehicle. A copy of the registration is in this customers file. A note of no plate number is noted on the registrationI have never seen this before, it might be a print error at DMV? The plate was noted as
sent to customer at her above listed address. We are contacting DMV to request a replacement plate to the customer at no charge due to the customer never receiving her hard plate. The registration that was supplied to the customer clearly states that all taxes and registration fees were paid. We have a copy of our cashed check to prove thisNo additional charges to the customer will be required.Leonard M***ownerNew Orleans Power Sports

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/20) */
In response to the complaint from Mr***, we have in no way harassed himUnder the advice of our legal counsel and the Prosecuting Attorney of Jay County, in preparation for a possible lawsuit against Mr***, we have sent him ONE notice
of the debt he owesJ & P Custom Plating, IncIt is your hope that Mr*** will avail himself of the opportunity to pay this debt without any legal proceedings
We did speak to the credit card company and we were informed that, just because they ruled in his favor on a matter of procedure, that does not absolve Mr*** of his debt to us
We had made several attempts to resolve this issue with Mr***If Mr*** would bring back to J & P Custom
Plating, Inc the parts he says were plated unsatisfactory (as stated in our return policy), we would be more than happy to evaluate them for him, offering what ever up grade he would need to make the parts satisfactory at the lowest possible cost
However, at this time, Mr*** does still owe us for the work that we have done
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/08/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Per your request, the following is in response to the J & P Custom Plating letter
After reviewing the response from the company, key items were not disclosed and would like to bring to light the customer service and product which was failed to be received
Once the parts were received, I immediately called the company in shock over the condition of the parts since what was sent to them was in better condition than what I receivedI was told at that time, (and the only time), "I got what I paid for", and if I wanted better, I needed to send all the parts back at my expense, and to pay more to fix what clearly was a mistake on their part, this is not what I consider customer serviceNo other options or resolutions were given to me during that phone call or over the course of arbitration
This complaint is for the failure of services rendered agreed verbally during my initial phone conversation and labor for the agreed workNone of my customer receipts have any verbiage containing return policy or qualityThis is a concern since the credit card copy received a totally different copy that what I have as an original
At this point and after careful consideration of all options (which again I was not given) I will offer to counter the charge quoted from the letter I received dated August 4, 2015, taking in consideration of the additional fees paid to fix the mistakes and for shipping to the other company and can provide those separately or to J & P Customer PlatingHowever, I will not cover their expense for the charge back from the credit card company

A [redacted] residing at [redacted] phone number ###-###-#### brought in for repair a 2016 Polaris Sportsman 850 vin# [redacted].  We had no records on the vehicle. We were informed that it was purchased in Mississippi and did not know when.  Mr....

[redacted] stated he was owner and had two problems that he wanted us to fix.  One was a broken axle and the other was a gauge issue. Mr. [redacted] stated that he wanted to see if it would be covered under warranty. He was informed by our service writer that broken axles can be claimed as an insurance claim and are never covered under Polaris warranty.  We would inspect the gauge issue. But if Polaris does not cover this under warranty that he would be responsible for the repairs and diagnostic fee. He agreed and signed the repair order authorization.  We brought the vehicle into the service department and found the Axle broken as described by the customer.  We did a full inspection of the break to see if it was due to manufacturers defect and found it was not.  Polaris has a clearly stated chart of axle failures due to over stress, abuse and accidents and it clearly showed this was not a covered item and should be referred to the consumers insurance company.  We looked up the replacement parts needed for the axle repair and offered less expensive choicesWe also did a full diagnostic of the gauge issues and no problems were found with the vehicle and gauge.  From the description of the problem the customer was improperly shifting from high to low gear while moving instead of at a dead stop!We called back with a quote for repair and Mr. [redacted] declined to replace the rear axle. We removed the axle from the ticket and gave him the cost of the diagnostic work done for both repairs.Mr. [redacted] arrived at the dealership demanding that he was the owner of the Polaris and refusing to pay the bill in the service department.  We let him know that the vehicle would not be released until his bill was paid.  He caused a scene in our showroom and  was asked to leave if he was not going to pay or calm down.  Kenner police arrived and informed [redacted] of his creating a disturbance and legal consequences of taking the vehicle without payment.  [redacted] paid his bill, was given a copy of work performed and a copy of the Polaris warranty statement of no coverage and chart of what is not covered.     [redacted] [redacted] has since smeared our company 's reputation on social media and other search data sites and now here whit no recourse ability to have the truth told.  I ask you to remove all of his false claims from your records.  He was given all possible courtesies but went way over the line of acceptable behavior. All work performed was authorized by the person bringing in the vehicle.  If any refusal to pay would have been stipulated in  advance we simply would not have touched his vehicle!

[redacted] Purchased a new 2016 Polaris Ranger Highlifter edition from us on June 28th 2016. She was given a $2200.00 discount off of retail price of $18,699.00 ( a very good deal).  Her trade in was valued at $2000.00 by our service and sales department. [redacted] agreed and signed a...

bill of sale showing the above numbers.  That vehicle came with a factory 6 month warranty only.  Polaris does not offer an extended warranty on this model due to the fact that is designed for extreme off road conditions. Conditions that normally void any warranty. Any discussions of any additions to this purchase should have been handled before the contract was signed.  She has copies of everything and no extended warranty's or any additions to this purchase is listed anywhere. Her factory warranty expired at the end of December.  Her vehicle is not in our service department, whatever is wrong with it is not defined as to it being a warranty or insurance claimed Item.  If she damaged her vehicle due to impact her insurance may cover it?[redacted] has visited our store last week and voiced her issues to all of my sales and finance staff.  She was explained the above and informed that shows what I listed above.  She has then taken to Social media with her false claims of dishonesty, had family members do the same, put in google reviews claiming dishonesty and falsely reported to you what not what she agreed in writing to with us.I am asking that you remove this from our records.  I am also asking [redacted] to stop harming our reputation.  We have done what she agreed in writing to. LeonardManagerNew Orleans Power Sports
