National Loan Recoveries

Review: I ran into financial problems in 1995. [redacted] turned me over to NLR. I have been paid them $50/month for twenty years. This was divided into two accounts. For all this time, I have paid with auto bill, so I was never late. For my July payment, $50 was sent. Later July, I received a letter stating that one of the accounts was paid, then another letter stated that the other account was not paid. I called all week during the week of 8/3, trying to resolve this issue. thinking they were on vacation, I again called on 8/10. The only message is that there is no one to answer the phones. On 8/10, I called [redacted] to ask them what I should do. There response was that I owe them nothing, and I should contact Revdex.com. If I owe [redacted] nothing, why am I still paying for twenty years. Until I hear from NLR, I am stopping all payments immediately. If I decide to stop all payments permanently, what is their recourse?Desired Settlement: Since [redacted] has dropped all recovery issues, this issue will be dropped for all future payments.
