05/09/ ***, In reference to complaint ID # [redacted] , National Mattress and Furniture Warehouse went out to Ms [redacted] 's residence a final time on 05/07/with the purpose of the final inspection of her merchandise described in the customers complaintUpon arrival at the customers home it was noticed that there was no defects or damages againWe give the customer the benefit of any doubt regarding this matterThe mattress was replaced on 05-07-and no further service will be conducted regarding this particular incidentIf there any any further questions or concerns regarding this situation Please contact me at 216-451-Thanks, Nick I [redacted] National Mattress and Furniture Warehouse- Store Manager

05/06/ ***, I am contacting you in response to complaint ID # [redacted] from customer [redacted] After the initial conversation with Ms [redacted] regarding her concern with the purchased merchandise, Based upon the manufacturers warranty it states that the customer is responsible for all transport of the merchandise to be evaluated by a service technician, and Ms [redacted] did in fact pick up the merchandise from our storeIn attempt to resolve this matter faster, National Mattress and Furniture Warehouse sent out our service team to her residence at no charge to inspect the merchandise, and at that point it was discovered that there was no defect in said merchandiseThe following day I, Nick I [redacted] , contacted [redacted] in regards to the service appointment and informed her there would be no warranty exchange to be done, because there was no issues or defects with the mattress she had purchased Upon receiving this Revdex.com notice on the morning on 5/6/2016, I had a co-manager Brian contact [redacted] a final time in reference to this matter and she was informed that we would even be willing to inspect it an additional time, provided she could bring the mattress back to our location safely sealed in a mattress bag for cleanliness reasonsShe informed Brian that the true nature of her complaint was that she could not put on her "panty-hose" every morning while sitting on the edge of her mattress, but was in fact sleeping in the bed every night and due to that she would not be willing to bring the mattress back to our facility for an additional inspectionPlease let me know if I can be of any further assistanceFeel free to contact me at (216) 451- Thanks, Nick I***-Manager- National Mattress and Furniture Warehouse

I would like to formally address the complaint given to you from Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] made the purchase of a king size mattress and split box springs on 7/08/2015, In which she had chosen to take the selected merchandise with her, instead of choosing to pay for our delivery service. On...

7/12/2015, We received a phone call from Ms.[redacted] stating that the mattress had "sinks" or "dips", At this point we had scheduled a service appointment for the following day. On 7/13/2015 one of the service professionals went to Ms. [redacted]'s home to inspect the alleged damage to the bedding. Upon inspection of the mattress and the angle of entry to the bedroom where the mattress had been placed. It was evident that whomever brought the mattress into the home and into the bedroom had aggressively bent the mattress, resulting in the thick gauge wire around the perimeter of the mattress to bend and cause the ”dip" noticed by Ms. [redacted]. In thestatement given by Ms. [redacted] she stated that she did indeed bend the mattress in order to make it ?t properly, clearly admitting to consumer error and abuse of the product. As a retailer , We have no way of knowing the structure and layout of the customers home, If she had stated that she had tight turns and angles in order to properly get the mattress into the room, We could have special ordered a hinged mattress which is made for situations exactly like these. The manufacturer of this particular mattress will not provide a warranty on merchandise that was damaged due to abuse, and National Mattress and Furniture Warehouse has no responsibility to replace the product as when it had left our facility the product was in perfect condition and Ms. [redacted] had signed off on her invoice to confirm that. Along with this response letter, I will attach a copy of the invoice with Ms. [redacted]'s signature and the service professionals notes from the 07/13/2015 appointment.
