Thank you [redacted] for your help Here is our “At National Merchant Center we take great pride in servicing our merchants and we are disheartened to read the below notice The account was correctly summarized as open in good standing up until months ago, when we received a rejected monthly payment from the merchants checking account This is the same account we have used since the inception of this account going back nearly years Although the merchant is still technically under contract we have closed the account on our end without ever receiving a cancellation letter from this merchant We as a company incur costs to keep these accounts open, and had been billing these fees without reason to cease The merchant blocked payment in March so we have since closed the account We have not billed for a cancellation fee, and we now know the merchant is requesting past collected fees to be returned We have kept to our merchant agreement and are happy to keep the account closed with no further billing and are willing to offer months of fees back to the merchant as good faith although we are not obligated to return any funds at this time It is our hope that the merchant will look upon our working relationship fondly and refer business in the future, or better yet, come back to National Merchant Center at any time for future processing needs Thank you.”

In June, we sent written/signed notice of cancellation to National Merchant Center ending our credit card processing with themAfter nearly a year, we continue to be billed $70/monthly for servicesAlthough, we have not processed a dime with them since May of After many continued attempts to reach them via fax, phone - we were told we would be billed an additional cancellation fee, and no restitution for the $worth of fraudulent charges

We received phone calls from a number of masked numbers claiming to be our current credit card processor wanting to reduce our rates, claiming that we were being overchargedWe proceeded with the necessary application until we noticed that the name of the processor in the agreement was not our current processor or any of their affiliates but was National Merchant CenterWe have the documentation and verification to prove itI was not impressed with the behavior of the companyWhen I told them it would take us a few days, and that we would have an attorney review the document, he nearly insisted that he review it with us, until I had insisted that we have it reviewedThey have called us under various numbers from around California, and even hid their number from us when making a particularly precarious follow up call

I spoke with the merchant today. We have heard all concerns and offered the merchant updated pricing which was lower than previous processor in order to maintain a working relationship. Merchant declined. National Merchant Center has elected to waive all cancellation fees,
including fees related to terminal rental. Merchant has agreed to return equipment to National Merchant Center. Merchant has been released from contract in good standing. Merchant may consider using National Merchant Center in the future by dealing directly with our corporate office

There are three companies. I am sending two pages per company. The first one is cancellation form since 2012 and second page is cancellation form for 2014. To refresh my complain, National Merchant Center has been charging all kind of fees since 2012. I have called them and tried to stop ACH my accounts without no luck. The most recent ACH was $69.95 for PCI annual fee per account. Thank you for your help

I have a business to use their service for accepting credit card, the rep and I agreed that they would charge 2.75% flat rate for total transaction without transaction fee, but they do charge transaction fee by changing the "transaction fee" to "other fee", every transaction 10 cents, and other fee as well like annual fee, monthly fee and fee with complicate name. I did not use any their machines, they did set me up in a trap for 36 monthes contract, I only used their service for 4 monthes, and lost more than 8 hundreds dollars. I hope you would be concerning to do business with this company.

“At National Merchant Center we take great pride in servicing our merchants and we are disheartened to read the below notice.  The account was correctly summarized as open in good standing up until 2 months ago, when we received a rejected monthly payment from the merchants checking account.  This is the same account we have used since the inception of this account going back nearly 3 years.  Although the merchant is still technically under contract we have closed the account on our end without ever receiving a cancellation letter from this merchant.  We as a company incur costs to keep these accounts open, and had been billing these fees without reason to cease.  The merchant blocked payment in March so we have since closed the account.  We have not billed for a cancellation fee, and we now know the merchant is requesting past collected fees to be returned.  We have kept to our merchant agreement and are happy to keep the account closed with no further billing and are willing to offer 2 months of fees back to the merchant as good faith although we are not obligated to return any funds at this time.  It is our hope that the merchant will look upon our working relationship fondly and refer business in the future, or better yet, come back to National Merchant Center at any time for future processing needs.  Thank you.”
