National Recovery Corp has been doing a great job - communication is clear and concise, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable It would be nice to see a quicker turnaround in collections, but for the most part, I have had a very satisfactory experience

We outsource collections to National Recovery Corp. We have had a very good experience working with this company. They are very thorough in their handling of our accounts in which we appreciate. Their approach when contacting our clients is very professional.

Since trying to better my life and pay old debts. I never dealt with such a dis-respectable collection company in life. At first they informed me that I will never pay for my debt, then sent out a letter claiming they will garnish my wages if this bill is not paid. Any threat to immediately garnish wages or seize your assets when a judgment has not been obtained is illegal. Not only that but before I knew that my past due bill was sold off this company. I contacted the original creditor and they informed me to make payments directly to them. National Recovery Corp refuses to close down my file with them, or confirm with original creditor about missing 100 payment. When I made a payment though email transfer and asked about my receipt ... her response was "Yes the 600 was received and you would have received confirmation of this when the emt was accepted." I waited over a month and sent an email to NRC to confirm if we could close down this file and if I could get my release letter.. her response "also indicated that it could take up to 60 days for the payment to be reflected on my end since you decided to pay the original creditor (who no longer owns your account).
Please note, there is no need to continue to contact the office or my personal email going forward." When all I did was send a simple email asking if its been received. I used to work for collection agency before I know that you have provide proof in regards to the payment and then they confirm with original creditor about payment. I did do that, however NRC still refuses to help me with this issue. I did also ask them how much interest they were charging the annual percentage rate because I found the balance to much larger. They were charging me more interest and her response in regards to this issue was. "I have confirmed with the purchaser that the interest rate per the user card agreement is 17.99%. The file has been updated and the balance now reflects the change.
Additionally, please find below screen prints from the purchaser with all of the details and breakdown of charges. I hope this is sufficient." No apology from the company in regards to this issue. I never been treated so poorly and I am still waiting for release letter. I did call original creditor to help me get this issue resolved.... However still waiting for help with this issue.

I had an outstanding debt and it was sourced out to National Recovery Corp. I had my Lawyer make the payment in full once I was able to remortgage my home. The payment was made on October 24, 2016 to National Recovery Corp in full. After my Lawyer confirmed that the payment had been made, I contacted Jeremy P., the Vice president of the company and asked for a release letter. We had agreed that he would issue me a release letter once the payment had been made. He had not returned any of my emails or phone calls in regards to this matter. I then spoke with Kevin at National recovery, he pretty much told me by law they don't have to send a release letter stating I've made the payment. But I asked "what about in good faith?" He then proceed to ask how long my debt has been outstanding for. I told him 2 years. He then proceeded to tell me that I will then receive my release letter in 2 years time. I paid this debt in good faith and completely voluntary. I was to work on bettering my credit score. But my biggest worry, if they're not being fair about this, who's to say that they're reporting the correct facts to [redacted]? I want to know for my own piece of mind that this payment is fully paid and I have covered my bases.

National Recovery Corp is a great collection agency to work with, I have used them for many delinquent accounts. The results are quick and they paid me back quickly. Their team is excellent to work with.
