Terrible customer service! If you are hurting and need physical therapy, only Medstar National Rehabilitation Center if you have days and hours to wait until you talk to someoneI called weeks ago because I need physical therapy and a message told me their lines were busy and I should leave a messageI didI called days later, same thingI gave up and booked with another groupI booked for yesterday (first available appointment with this other group) and my session was cancelled due to illness of the therapistCoincidentally, I got a call from NRH today asking me to call backI called and after minutes being put on hold "briefly" multiple times, I gave upThis is ridiculous! How hard is it to schedule an appointment or to tell people that they don't want new patients?

Terrible customer service! If you are hurting and need physical therapy, only Medstar National Rehabilitation Center if you have days and hours to wait until you talk to someone. I called 2 weeks ago because I need physical therapy and a message told me their lines were busy and I should leave a message. I did. I called 2 days later, same thing. I gave up and booked with another group. I booked for yesterday (first available appointment with this other group) and my session was cancelled due to illness of the therapist. Coincidentally, I got a call from NRH today asking me to call back. I called and after 29.36 minutes being put on hold "briefly" multiple times, I gave up. This is ridiculous! How hard is it to schedule an appointment or to tell people that they don't want new patients?

Review: On Monday, June 16, 2014 at 5:43pm [redacted] from '[redacted] emailed with "Explanation of benefits".

The following information was provided in an email:

"[redacted] Coverage: 90%; Co-insurance: 10% estimated financial responsibility billed $131.10; Deductible: $248.12 remaining".

Today, on 10/08/2014, I have received a billing letter from the National Rehabilitation Hospital, PO Box [redacted], Washington, DC, [redacted].

The billing letter states that $1311.00 are owed for services (100%) and that $0.00 are estimated to be paid by an insurance company.

I request the National Rehabilitation Hospital to explain why , instead of billing me 10% plus co-pay charges as I was told prior to services being rendered, it now bills me for 100% of charges with $0.00 expected from insurance company.

I would refuse to accept the services had I know that I would be charged 100% of the cost with $0.00 covered by my insurer.

I accepted the service with understanding that my liability would not exceed 10% plus co-pay ($131.00 plus co-pay) for the service.

The hospital was extremely slow in processing of records, had caused delays before sending report to my primary care physician and even had my room mixed up with another patients' during the day of the service. Despite all the inconveniences I have not filed complaints against it up until today and was hoping to just part my ways with this business once the invoice for 10% co-insurance and co-pay is provided and paid.

However, today I am forced to file this formal complaint and follow up with further legal and regulatory steps necessary in order to demand this business to act with accountability and answer for it's misleading practices and total lack of the customer service.Desired Settlement: The hospital was extremely slow in processing of records, had caused delays before sending report to my primary care physician and even had my room mixed up with another patients' during the day of the service.
