Yes, Summit came to fix the items that were on our list from two years. However, I have electronic proof that we've had the carpet issue since we been in this house (2 years). Summit knows we DON'T have pets and for them to mention this along with vacuuming improperly, that would be the case for the whole carpet. This response is a reaction to us not signing the paper they wanted us to sign when they finished the work (that we're all happy) and cosmetic was not the case for my daughters room when they had to go in the attic to ensure it wasn't structural damage that was seen. I'm not going to go back in forth with this company, I just wanted to let other homeowners know to be aware. This matter can be closed, as I'm much more of a professional and let me evidence speak for me (electronic correspondence and copy of all tickets opened on this house). Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted]

Dear
Revdex.com of Greater Kansas City,Summit
Custom Homes, LLC would like to respond to the letter submitted to you by Mrs.
[redacted] dated March 24, 2016After
Mrs. [redacted] initially contacted Summit I scheduled a site visit with her on
March 18, 2016. Mrs. [redacted] walked me through the home and...

identified items
she felt needed attention and/or further attention from Summit. A majority of
the items being cosmetic repairs such as nail pops and paint touch up. We came
to a mutual agreement on what items Summit would address. With the assistance
of our Warranty Department we attempted to get the trade partners scheduled to
perform the work. Scheduling with Mrs. [redacted] is difficult due to the fact
that her only availability is on Friday’s.    We
were able to schedule our painter/drywall trade as well as our carpentry trade
for April 1, 2016. Both arrived at the residence and preformed the work per
their Summit issued work orders. The painter was not able to complete on that
Friday and made arrangements with Mrs. [redacted] to return on the morning of April
2, 2016 to complete the work. When he arrived on Saturday he was turned away by
Mrs. [redacted] and new arrangements we’re made to return on April 3, 2016. The
painter returned to the residence on Sunday as agreed upon with Mrs. [redacted]
and was turned away again. Our warranty agreement with Mrs. [redacted] clearly
states that we must have access to the home in order to complete the repairs. To
date, that has not been the case. As
of today, April 4, 2016, the painter is scheduled to complete his task on April
8, 2016. I would like to highlight this will be the last attempt to satisfy
this claim with Mrs. [redacted]. One
item of note is Mrs. [redacted]’s dining room carpet, see attached picture. She
showed this to me during my site visit and requested the entire room of carpet
be replaced by Summit. I declined, however she continues with bring up the
issue. The carpet was not in this condition when she closed on the home. In my
opinion, the fraying is indicative of wear and tear, pets or improper
vacuuming. As a courtesy we have scheduled Northcraft Flooring, the original
supplier/installer, to do a site assessment based on the carpet manufacturers
guidelines. At this time, no other action will be taken on this item.  Summit Custom Homes plans to have Mrs. [redacted]’s concerns
completed by close of business April 8, 2016 as scheduled.  Kindest Regards,Joe
