Our roof was replaced on April 4, 2008. It has a 25 year warranty and it leaks. He came out to fix it once but it continues to leak in the same places. We have been trying to contact him now for several years with no return call. We have water damage to out drywall. We can not sell our house like this.

This is *esponse to the complaint filed by M. *** on Feb*ua*y 9, 2020;National *oofing & Siding installed a *oof on M. ***'s home on Ap*il 14, 2008. Sometime aftethe installation, M. *** called the office and indicated he thought he had a *oof leak. Upon inspection of the *oof nothing was found with the *oof installation that was *esulting in a *oof leak. At the time of the inspection, the*e we*e conce*ns found with the chimney wood & siding. I sealed the a*eas and *elayed the findings to M. ***.On Feb*ua*y 7, 2020, th*ee messages we*e left ovethe weekend while the office was closed. On Feb*ua*y 10, 2020, when the office opened at 9:00 am,I called M. *** and set an appointment foWednesday Feb*ua*y 12, 2020 between 10:00 am & 12:00 noon which was the fi*st available date someone would be home fome to inspect the damage.Upon inspecting the inte*ioof the home, damage was noted on the 2nd sto*y foyeceiling neathe f*ont dooand on the family *oom wall next to the chimney and just above an adjoining window. The *oof inspection found a numbeof issues in the a*ea of the leak by the g*eat *oom wall. None of which a*e *elated to the *oof installation. The*e's a conside*able amount of *otted wood on the chimney, issues with the chimney siding & chimney siding co*nepost as well as siding on the wall next to the chimney. I also discove*ed a hole in the b*ick mo*taabove the g*eat *oom window in the exact a*ea of the d*ywall damage.A damaged *oof vent was found in the a*ea of the foyeceiling which may be cont*ibuting to the damaged ceiling. The *oof vent damage is most likely the *esult of deb*is hitting the vent du*ing a sto*m. I called M. *** on the evening of Feb*ua*y 12, 2020 to go ovethe *esults of my inspection. Du*ing that conve*sation, M. *** indicated the p*oblem with the foyeceiling only occu*s when it's ve*y cold outside. He also indicated the*e's a bath*oom next to that same a*ea with a bath*oom exhaust fan. I at that time advised M. *** it's ve*y possible that may be cont*ibuting to the p*oblem if the fan is not p*ope*ly ventilated. When you have wa*m aiexhausting into a cold attic, it p*oduces condensation which could be d*ipping on the foyeceiling.M*. *** has a 30 yealimited manufactu*e's waanty. M. *** also *eceived a GAF System Plus Waanty that covemate*ial & laboof all manufactu*e's defects fo20 yea*s non p*o*ated. National *oofing & Siding p*ovided a 10 YeaWo*kmanship Waanty cove*ing all wo*kmanship defects. I've attached photo's of all the a*ea's of conce*n. I've also ag*eed to *eplace the damaged *oof vent in the sp*ing at no cha*ge. Please contact me afte***eviewing the photo's and my findings.Thank you,

We are very pleased with the attention to detail and the excellent workmanship performed by the National workmen. The roofing, siding and windows were all installed very neatly and with no problems. We love the way our home now looks. And, we are also very pleased with the patience and kindness of owner John Szatkiewski and would hire his company again, without any hesitation, if needed.
