Review: Contacted company to receive help with student loan. I am disabled and unable to pay payment. Paid this company $549.00 (this was discounted amount they gave me due to my circumstances). I had explained to [redacted] that I had just lost my husband January 8th, 2015. Called him a couple of times to see how case was progressing, he asked for copy of my disability declaration letter, so I faxed it to him. This was after I had received a letter from nelnet. asking for letter. Had received no other correspondance from [redacted]. I thought it was being handled. I received statements in the mail from fedloan stating zero balance due for payment. Got letter today from nelnet. stating I was found ineligible due to them not receiving required documentation. Called them and they said they had received disability declaration letter but the medical review date had been marked through. I am sending them another copy myself. This company did nothing to earn their $549.00! Now when I call the number it is disconnected! I am not a happy camper!Desired Settlement: I want my money back! They did nothing but take advantage of a grieving woman, on disability! The really sad thing is I borrowed the money from my elderly parents! I want the $549.00 refunded due to no services rendered!

Review: This company advertised as a debt consolidation company to help shrink the payments of federal student loans. After working with them in January to set this up they told me it would require 2 payments to them, 1 of $300 and 1 of $299.50, and then my request would process and I could start paying off my loans by February or March, because there is a 60-90 day processing time. Well here I sit in almost June and there has yet to be any loan payments and they only thing they have taken is the $599.50 "processing fee." I tried contacting them and got a hold of them once and spoke to [redacted] where she claimed "everything looks good on our end, I'm not sure why the payments didn't start" and they have not contacted me since and every time I call I get the voicemail of [redacted], who is says he is the processing manager. My father called once and got a hold of them but was told "[redacted] is out of the office today and he needed to look over the issue." They have not responded to my voicemails or my fathers voicemails (he co-signed on the loans) and they seem to tag your number because once you get through once, you can never get through to them again. The call waiting always says "you care next in line" but always ends up at [redacted] voicemail. Thanks to them all of my federal loans are now behind.Desired Settlement: At this point I just want my $599.50 back because I am pretty certain this was a scam from the beginning and, even if it isn't, I do not desire to work with them any longer because I can not trust them. However if the refund is unlikely I just hope no one else falls prey to their horrible scam
