I called [redacted], my student loan provider on Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 to confirm that the got my fax with my paycheck stubs and tax information because I have to send this info once a year for the income driven payment plan. The lady from [redacted] that spoke to me on the phone said that...

she had not received any paperwork and asked me what number I faxed it to. I told her the number and the name I put on the fax with, "attention to" on it.  She did not recognize the name or number. She gave me her fax number. I asked her if she new anything about the student forgiveness program that I had signed up for last year. She said that I was not in any sort of agreement like that. Then she asked me if I was being charged for my loans. I told her that it started last summer and that they withdrawal 39.00 out of my checking account every month. She told me that third party or private companies did this and they were trying to find out who they were and shut them down because they were basically stealing from people. She was looking into my account info and said that she could see where there was a private company that has started to do a loan consolidation for me on July 16, 2014 and cancelled it on July 21st, 2014. I didn't know it was ever cancelled. The lady asked me how many payments had they taken out of my checking account and I told her that they still were currently. She said that I needed to contact my bank and stop the payments, get online and google Revdex.com and file a complaint, she said she would send me the correct link for an application for the 10 year student loan payoff program to see if I would qualify, and told me what paperwork I had to have my employment fill out for it. She said that I should be able to get a refund for the money that National Student Relief has taken from me. So I contacted you guys and that is where I have left off. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do. Thank you, [redacted]

Review: I recently discovered that this company has been scamming me since September 2015 at $196/monthly. It was a "student loan forgiveness" program that was going to help me consolidate my student loans at a lower payment because I was currently unemployed at the time. The dept of education school loan program kept calling me and saying that I wasn't making any payments on my student loans but I thought that's why I was paying the $196/monthly for. They advised me to contact my bank that they had never heard of this company and they had not received any money from this scam company and as a result I now can't afford to pay my school loans all the interest I racked up from the months I thought I was paying.Desired Settlement: To get all the money this company has stole from me refunded so I can put it towards my actual loan so I can pay off my loans faster and take care of my family.

Review: Last year on July 16th, 2014 I switched over my student loans to national student relief. I kept reading about the organization on facebook. I spoke to a guy by the name of Michael Bryan. He emailed my the info. I signed everything. This took us about 2 hours on the phone and online. My contract was started July 16th and cancelled July 21st of 2014. I found this out by contacting the company who holds my student loans. The terrible thing is that this company, National Student Relief has been taking money out of my checking account every month for the last 14 months at 39 dollars a month for absolutely no service at all. I am now contacting my bank and filing a complaint and a claim to see if I can get it refunded.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back.

Review: I contacted National Student Relief because they were recommended to me by a colleague for student loan forgiveness and loan consolidation. The promises made to me by National Student Relief were that my loans would be consolidated, my monthly payments would be reduced, and that after 10 years the remainder of the loans would be forgiven. I was told that for a monthly fee, they would file the paperwork and keep my account open for three months and then the loan payments would begin.

I feel that the claims made by National Student Relief were misrepresented to me for the following reasons:

I was billed as promised but have begun to receive requests for payment from a federal loan company on top of the money that I was already being billed.

It was my understanding that the money I was paying WAS the loan payment and that I would not have to pay anything further once my loans were consolidated.

Further, the other loans that my wife has were not consolidated with mine as promised and another set of loans with another company were simply put into deferment.

These conditions were not described to me at any time during the enrollment process and it is my opinion that National Student Relief was not clear or honest in these matters.

When I called to question some of the things that concerned me, my number was blocked and I could not reach anyone at the company.

I have never received my own copy of the contract and conditions.

When I called other companies with whom I have loans I was told by both of them that this was most likely a scam.

For these reasons I am asking for cancellation of my contract with National Student Relief and refund of all funds collected from me.Desired Settlement: Cancellation of contract and refund of all funds collected by National Student Relief.

Review: Hi, I am so disgusted with this company and I've never dealt with unprofessionals like this before. This company is continuing to ignore my phone calls and voice mails. This is what happened I was making payments for my loans and life changes happened and I wasn't working full time or part time at my job and started getting less hours working two or three days a week. I explained that to the supervisor name [redacted] at the company and he understood showing sympathy. He said to me were going to help you and figure out a different solution and if not then a refund back on the two payments you made. So then I was contacted by Billing Manager name [redacted] and she was very rude and unkind. She offered me to pay 78 or 68 dollars instead of the 98 I was doing. I told her I cant even afford that or any bills I have. Can we come up with something else. She basically told me it wasn't her concern that I couldn't afford it and that's all she can do for me. I told her once again I cant afford it and you cant take money out my account that I don't have. how can you try to take something out my account I don't have. Once again that wasn't her concern and she showed that on the phone. They tried to take the 98 out of my account and I had to cancel my card. Seriously what company does that? I tried getting in touch with [redacted] and he was not answering my calls or voice mails. Everytime I call they would say he will contact you back or send me to his voice mail. Never heard from him again and I called the company a couple of times and my calls weren't being answered anymore. Its honestly disgusting and what kind of company are they running. And just recently Nov 18, 2015 they took money without my consent from a card I had on file with them that I told them to cancel because I wanted to use a different card. I cancelled one card with them because I didn't have the money so they take from another card that was supposed to cancelled and not used. Seriously? Disgusting and unbelievable. I hope to not deal withDesired Settlement: I honestly would like a refund on the two payments I have made and I will have to cancel my other card they took money from without my permission. I do not wanna deal with company anymore. So unprofessional. Please help me with this. Thank You.
