Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Although National Unity Insurance is not my insurance company, they represent the person ( [redacted] ) who was at fault for the accidentI have been working with National Unity directly in particularly with [redacted] and [redacted] However I still do not have replacement for my vehicle, my medical bills paid, rental car money, and nuisance reimbursement for each month since July of 2014, and loss of wages. In addition to that, because I have not received any of these things nor have I heard from [redacted] or ***, I have had to hire a lawyer in which now I will need those expenses reimbursed as wellNational Unity has had mycar since September 11, At this point, technically my car has been stolen by the companyI am a college student and this is also making it very hard for me to get to schoolI would like/need to conclude my business with National Unity as soon as possible so I can move on with my life Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
In one of the comments from Pronto it was stated that "the adjuster exhausted efforts to reach the claimant and since it appeared there was no pursuit, the pd portion was closed for that reason".  That is untrue, I called numerous times and left my information with my message.  Not once was I contacted until I made this complaint with the Revdex.com.  This matter is not fully resolved yet, but I am happy that I am in contact with the insurance now. I am hoping this will be resolved soon..
Regards,

We issued the payment on 6/6 and sent it to her address on file where she has received all our other correspondence. I checked with National Unity and confirmed the check was still outstanding and not cashed. We called the customer and she now gave us a different apartment number. We are going to stop pay that check, reissue a new one and send it to her “new” address.

Revdex.com Attention: [redacted] RE: Claim Number: [redacted] Revdex.com ID Number: [redacted] Ms. [redacted], Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to response on behalf of National Unity Insurance Company. The complainant had an auto accident...

with a National Unity policyholder and presented a claim for damages to her vehicle. We assessed the damage to the complainant’s vehicle and issued payment to her and the body shop she identified as her shop of choice. When she received the 2-party check, she inquired as to why we couldn’t issue payment directly to her. We informed her that since there was a lien on record for her vehicle, we were obligated to protect the lienholder’s interest as well as her own. She responded that she had paid off the lien some time ago and requested we re-issue payment directly to her. Because the lienholder was still on record through TXDOT as having an active lien on the vehicle, we requested she provide a copy of the title to her vehicle showing that the lienholder no longer had an interest in the vehicle.  The complainant did so on May 25th and payment was reissued to her directly. Sincerely, [redacted] Vice President Claims
