Dear Revdex.com,First, please accept my apology for the delayed responseI was out of town when the initial complaint letters arrivedThank you for your understanding.I reviewed the complaint by my customer and I would like to add some context to this customer's experienceThe
customer purchased a table and chairs on March 26, and the set was delivered on April 10, In May the customer contacted my store and raised concerns about the strength of the setIn particular, she was concerned that leg supports had become displaced on a few of the chairsWe advised her to bring the chairs in for serviceThe chairs arrived with seat cushions torn and stained and the leg supports were displacedThe chairs were not delivered to the customer in this condition but instead of servicing the chairs, my employee replaced the chairs at no cost to the customerThe customer contacted the store again during the very same monthAn employee of my store visited the customer's home to service the repairsDuring that service call the chairs were serviced which included tightening the joints and screws on the entire setThe customer signed off on the service call that she was satisfiedMy employee observed that the furniture is being used in a commercial setting where the customer provides hairdressing services out of her homeThe majority of manufacturer lines sold in my store are recommended for residential use onlyOver the past five years I have sold hundreds of these counter height sets (either identical or comparable) and I have had no complaints about the furniture whatsoever.My store policy is that "All Sales Are Final; No Cash Refunds." This policy is clearly posted in my store by the front desk and is clearly printed at the top of each invoice/receipt provided at the time of saleFurther, the customer's commercial use was not disclosed at the time of purchaseHad that been disclosed, I would have recommended the customer purchase furniture from another manufacturer sold in my store or I would have referred the customer to a commercial furniture storeI understand the customer's disappointment, but the track record of this set (it has never disappointed any of the hundreds of customers that purchased them) coupled with the commercial use of a non-commercial set of furniture means that my obligation to this customer is completeI have replaced two chairs and serviced the entire setI advise the customer to purchase commercial furniture her business needs but I do not believe it should be at my expense.Sincerely,David Safir

two days ago I started to sit in a chair, There were two screws on the floor, I picked the screws up and went to move the chair and the whole chair
came apartWhat if I had fallen?
The furniture is poorly put together and I paid too much for the furniture to settleI also sent this same message to Josh W*** who is with the main office in TexasI purchased the table and chairs in good faith and didn't expect the table to lose screws and I didn't expect the bars on the side of the chair to come offThe store acts if these things came of by someone sitting in the chairsAgain I say this furniture is not put together like it is supposed to beWould you like to pay a thousand dollars for something and it falls apart?
