day, she did return to store and explained she had changed her mind on the sofa and wanted a refund on that but still wanted dinette set and requested it to be removed from showroom floor so no one else would sit at it, and would advise us of a delivery date. [redacted] explained to  customer that he had no problem canceling the order portion of the sofa because it had not been ordered yet, but the dinette set was not cancelable and was awaiting a delivery date.    [redacted] did hand  $ 700.00 back to her in cash ( same said cash that was just handed to him a bit ago) .  The next evening she did return requesting to cancel the dinette set but was informed [redacted] had already left for the evening and to see him the following morning.  On Thursday morning 11/13/2014, customer did return to store to speak with [redacted] regarding cancellation of dinette set, stated she just did  not want, and was told it was not able to be cancelled as explained the day of the sale, 2 days prior and proceeded again to go over the Store Policies.  Said Store Policies are on every customer receipt also for their reference.  Customer became angry and proceeded to yell at [redacted], did not like nor agree with Store Policies he was referencing regarding her purchase.  She became enraged and decided to swipe her arm across the showroom sales desk which resulted in the entire contents being thrown and strewn across the showroom floor ( papers, folders, catalogs, pens, staplers, clipboards, small tools etc).  It was at this point the [redacted] Police Department was called by [redacted].  Officers arrived and removed customer from store and spoke with both people separately.  Customer was advised to not return to store by [redacted] Police Department.  We are awaiting notification via telephone call or email as to when customer would like delivery of her purchased dinette set. Review: I purchased the mattress and within a short time it started to develop sink spots and began to become flat. I spoke with Victor the store manager and informed him of this problem he informed me that if it was within the guidelines the warranty was still good. It took quite a while to track him down again about the pictures we sent and information that was required. He told us it was approved and that we should expect a new mattress within a month. The process started in May. To date we have not received anything and he has told us on numerous occasions that it's on the truck and we should get it soon.I have not. I suffer from stenosis of the nervous spaces of my back and degenerate spinal disc and am disabled. This mattress problem has made my pain worse and very discomforting because it's very hard to get a good nights rest on a lumpy mattress.Desired Settlement: All I want is a new mattress please. If my back issues get worse I will consider starting a law suit for pain and suffering

Review: I purchased a bedroom set from [redacted] on 5/16/2015. I called on 5/18/15 to confirm the order placement for the bedroom set. I was told the delivery was coming from [redacted] and should arrive within 7-10 days and that someone would call me shortly to schedule a delivery date. The week of May 25th, I made several telephone calls to receive an update on the delivery status with no returned telephone calls. On Saturday, May 30th, at approximately 11 am, I called the store and was told by [redacted] that the delivery truck did not have enough room for my purchase and that another truck needed to go out for additional orders from the warehouse in **. I told her that was unacceptable and unprofessional business to not notify the customer of any changes, I requested to talk to a manager and was told someone would call me back. By 5 pm 5/30/15 I had not received a call, so my husband and I went to the store to receive an update. The store owner ([redacted]) was not helpful and commented that he was too busy to return calls, also sarcastically questioning if I wanted him to pick up the furniture set. [redacted] reported he would contact me by Tuesday June 2 with an update on the furniture. As of 6/3/15, I have not received a call from a company representative regarding the delivery of the furniture.Desired Settlement: If the order can not be delivered by Friday, I would like a full refund.

Review: Purchased furniture from Nations Furniture in Orange, Ct and started having problems with the couch specifically the cushions. So I talked to the owner and he ordered the new cushions and when finally received them almost 4 months later he had only ordered 2 and not 3. So I told him we needed the 3rd he said he was going to order it.I have been waiting for almost 2 years now for this cushion and still nothing. I went into the business and asked him where the cushion was and to let him know the rest of the cushions were gone. He requested I email him pictures of the couch and he would take care of it and still nothing. I've been waiting 3 months for that and I've called and emailed a gain still no response. Horrible place to deal with.Very unhappy with the money that was spent on the horrible product and warranty.Desired Settlement: I just want this horrible business owner to live up to the promises and replace what needs to be replaced.I think it's been long enough. If I knew then what I know now I would've never purchased anything from this business.

Complaints like this are why I am weary of even working with the Revdex.com. While there is very little truth in this compliant, even if you took it at face value, shouldn't someone there say "If you haven't received your refund in the 7-10 days they said, come back and we will file your complaint and get involved"? The Bureau should have some gate keeping function otherwise it is nothing more than a business funded message board.

That being said, this customer ordered a dinette on 3/6/13 and was given a 2-3 week ship time. She called on Thursday morning the 21st to cancel and was told by [redacted] that her salesperson [redacted] would be in later that afternoon and would give her a call when she gets in. [redacted] was not rude, it is just store policy that customers deal directly with their salesperson first when there is an issue and if it cannot be resolved then it is referred to me. This was not acceptable to Ms. [redacted] and she and her boyfriend after yelling and cursing at [redacted] said they were coming down to the store which they did. I arrived after they had already been in the store for 10-15 minutes. I spoke with them personally and explained to them the store policy which is printed on the receipt. I told her, while we do have a 30% restocking fee when someone cancels something they ordered we waive it if they re-select. They were about to choose something else but it seemed to me that they were just picking something for the sake of picking something which I talked them out of. I explained to them that it didn't make sense for either of us for them to pick out something else they really didn't need just to get something. I told them their deposit was not going anywhere and to wait until they actually need something and come in and use it, which they agreed. It was a very pleasant and amicable conversation. I also told them the Dinette they ordered was already on the way and would be in the next morning if they changed their minds. I think she mentioned that someone else might take the dinette they were given but they would think about it. The next day they came in and [redacted] was here, I do not know what their conversation was but they were in the showroom for a little over 10 minutes when [redacted] came in and told me they just wanted the refund. I went out to talk to them just to make sure they didn't want to hold off and save the 30% and just weight to use their deposit towards a future purchase when they actually need something. However they did not so I confirmed the address we would be mailing the check to and the amount when once again they got heated and upset because I don't keep enough cash in the store and I couldn't give them cash back right then and there. She kept saying what she says in her complaint about bedding and our cancellation/return policy and numerous times I tried to explain to her that those are items you cannot cancel or return. We are not stopping her from canceling this order. We are giving her a refund but it is by check and it takes about a week which is what really . They cursed at me and told me off and stormed out of the store. By the way, my name is Victor, not [redacted]. I checked this Am and her check had already been mailed out on Monday. Check # 2462 dated 3/25/13 mailed to [redacted] XXXXX and the amount was $81.30 (not $75) which reflects the balance of her deposit minus the restocking fee. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Review: I went to this place of business with my two sisters and saw two items I was possibly interested in. While proceeding to leave the store to go up the post road to shop around the owner [redacted] stated to leave a deposit with the understanding that it could be returned if we did not want to proceed on with the purchase. He knew I was going to shop around nothing was ever paid out or purchased. I returned the same night after shopping at other places that even had the exact sofa I was interested in his store for cheaper. I returned to get my deposit back. [redacted] had left and the lady told me to return the next day to see him for my money. ( it was a cash deposit). When I returned it had been within 48 hrs and [redacted] refused to give me the deposit telling me I had to apply the money and buy at his store. No signs or nothing on the receipt had nothing regarding deposits. He was rude and got in my face threatening to donate my money to the [redacted]. He put me out his store and still has my money and will not return it. I do not want to purchase anything in his store I am simply looking for my deposit of 300.00 back. Thank youDesired Settlement: Deposit returned in cash.

Review: My furniture arrived damage and the sell rep [redacted] told me that he would fix the scratch and replace the damaged parts to my bedroom set. Once the set arrived to my house and we noticed that the furniture was damaged even worse. I called the store while the delivery people were still at my resident. The store rep [redacted] told me that he didn't care about the damage and I was being difficult and that he no longer cared about making it right once the furniture was in my house. I still haven't received the replacement parts and the rep refuses to take care of the issue.Desired Settlement: Either replace or repair the damage pieces of furniture.
