Unprofessional, liars worst customer service ever.
I filed a claim over a month ago and no call back no updates no adjuster to come see my car and when I call to speak to someone just straight to voicemails and I when I ask to speak to a manager there's never any around ? At 10am on a weekday ??? I call numerous times same thing all the time .
If I can give 0 stars or even negative they would surely have one !!

I had accident with Nations Insurance insured driver which was fully at fault. The Company does not act in a good faith and refuses reimbursement.
I was involved in a car accident with Nations Insurance insured, ***
(Policy number: BCAXXXXXXXXX) The accident occured on December, 4th, 2019 at *** parking lot. I was slowly driving to my parking space when I was hit by *** who was backing out of his parking spot. As a result of this accident, my vehicle was damaged.

Initially Nations Insurance claim adjuster *** sent a letter of full denial for my claim. After I asked the company to revise the claim, they sent me the second letter where you acknowledged that insured,***, was backing out from his parking space when he hit my vehicle, and stated that they were willing to place comparative negligence. Later, *** explained that you would cover fifty percent of my damage costs.

I fully rejected their proposal in a letter to them, as their insured was negligent, backing up when it was not safe. In their letter Nations Insurance wrote that I incorrectly stated that I was driving in the middle of the aisle and was going to park to the right just beyond the accident location. According to California traffic rules the position of my car and availability of parking spaces does not relate to the accident. Parking lot traffic rules (see *** directly state that the driver who is backing out of the parking space does not have the right of way.

Taking into account that two months has passed *** the accident, the company keeps changing their proposed resolution, does not take my calls or respond to my letters, have not paid me reimbursement yet for the damages causes by their insured, Nations Insurance does not follow principle of acting in a good faith for the insurance companies.

Desired Outcome

I demand the full reimbursement (***) of the damage to my car.

The company has lied to me numerous times about billing dates and policies in order to gain money and get an advantage.
I recently started with this insurance company about 3-4 months ago. The first month, they never sent me a billing notice and I ended up receiving a notice of cancellation in the mail. I immediately called and had them explain to me why I was receiving this and not the bill notice. They explained that I should of gotten it and that it wasn't their fault and that I need to pay before the 20th (my bill is due the 8th), to avoid cancellation. I went forward with that knowledge into the next month knowing I had to pay by the 20th. By the time the 20th came the next month, I never received a billing notice, just another notice of cancellation. Each time they cancel your policy too, they add a reinstatement fee to get it back. I called again, this time asking to speak with a supervisor to get this sorted out. I spoke with the Supervisor, ***, who informed me that, if not paid before the 20th, the policy would be canceled. She was kind enough to waive the reinstatement fee after some convincing. But, she said it was not their fault I didn't get my bills.

A month later, last month, I got the same thing in the mail. At this point, I'm just extremely confused why I'm being told to pay by the 20th, and then I keep getting letters of cancelation. I called their customer service and spoke with a gentleman who opened an inquiry into understanding why my bills were not being received and told me he would waive my late fee, but when I got this month's bill, I learned he had not waived it.

Then this month, today, I get my statement in the mail. My first statement I've ever gotten from them in 3-4 months. Except I got the statement today, the 10th, and my bill apparently was due 2 days ago, the 8th. So I call customer service again. The first guy (***, I think?), just hung up on me in the middle of me explaining my story. So I had to call again and just requested to be transferred to a supervisor. I got the same supervisor, ***, who informed me she spoke with me last time and I recalled our conversation. During my second conversation with ***, she told me a couple things I found concerning and only adds evidence to my belief that they're trying to scam me out of money with late fees and such.

She told me that my bill was due the 27th... Which is in no even on par with the other information I was receiving. Then after correcting her, she adjusted it and told me then it was the 8th. I asked her if she could see where my confusion was coming from in that I get a different response every time. She didn't seem to care and left me with the option of "There's nothing I can do to help." Which is not an option, but an ultimatum. After that I tried to explain how this is unfair because I am not even getting my bills before their due date. She told me they company sends their notices out 20 days before your due date. However, on my statement it was printed on the 27th - which is 10 days before my due date. Caught in another lie. And when I confronted her she backed out and just said its not her fault. No responsibility was accepted here. I kept explaining to her that this is where my confusion comes from - every person I talk to tells me something different and then no one takes responsibility.

Desired Outcome

I would like them to remove the $13(and some change) late fee from my bill. I've been very adamant about calling them and trying to get my billing statements as well as make sure my policy doesn't get canceled. I'm not looking to get free insurance or scam them, I just want to make sure I am not getting scammed. I'm very frustrated with getting late bills as well. I'd like for them to send me notices on time and alert me of the EXACT billing date and time, rather than 5 different dates from 5 different people. I'd like to believe they're not intentionally doing the wrong thing here, but with ***'s lack of customer service and care for my situation, it seems that unfortunately maybe something is going on.

The customer service provided and level of difficulty to cancel my policy without receiving a cancellation fee or being recharged a new policy term
I had an existing policy with Nations Insurance and the policy number is***XXXXX. I received a notice in the mail stating that my insurance policy was ending on 9-25-19 and if I did not cancel before that date Nations would automatically charge me for another term for vehicle insurance. I looked to see how I could cancel online and did not see any instructions about cancellation anywhere in their online portal. I called into customer service and a representative informed me that I needed to write a letter with my signature and date as well as the effective date for cancellation and email it to their customer service email address and that I could not cancel by phone. The customer service rep indicated that the date that I wanted to cancel needed to be included in the letter. I used a letter provided by my new insurance carrier Progressive to cancel and input my name and the dates. The date of the Progressive insurance policy was 9-23-19 which was the date requesting for cancellation so I did not have lapse in coverage. October 13th I received a letter in the mail of an amount due for $29 not indicating what the fee was for so I called into Customer Service and the rep indicated that there was a balance on my account because I cancelled two days before the policy ended. She asked if I wanted to make the payment and I told her I would call back. Today I called Customer Service and spoke with a Representative named ***, I told her that there was no indication on the initial letter of their cancellation fee and there also was not a way to cancel my policy online or by phone which made it difficult. The instructions for cancellation were provided to me by phone and not via email and I requested that she remove the cancellation policy since the policy was cancelled just 2 days early. She stated that she unfortunately could not and when I asked to speak with a manager she claimed that she was a manager. I further explained to her how difficult they make it to cancel a policy when there is no instructions anywhere except verbally over the phone and that if I put the date 1 day early I would be penalized with a cancellation fee one day late I would have to pay for a new policy term. She also mentioned that I could have contacted the broker and I informed her the broker information on the amount due notice for Adriana's insurance had a phone number that was out of service. She told me I could have looked up their *** number. I told her that was unfair and asked again if she would remove the fee due to the circumstances. The Rep said that it was my option to make the payment online. I thanked her for her time and disconnected the call.

Desired Outcome

I wish for Nations auto insurance to remove the $29 cancellation fee and stop sending collections notices

Hello, On 03/11/2019 I opened a new auto insurance with *** Insurance. Ramiro (broker) went over the Policy Terms. It will be a 10 month's coverage $197 down and starts 3/11/2019 to 12/11/2019 No payment in April. Starting in May with automatic payments through my Banks checking account for $52.59. I received a cancelation letter from Nations Insurance Co. for Non-Payment effective April 21nd.I was driving around 14 days not knowing. I read the letter on May 4th. I went to *** to see if this policy can be fixed. *** (Broker) spoke to Nations Insurance. I can pay $52.59 for March & April and $97 for late fees. The brokers offered me to open a new policy which I declined. After looking a little closer at the policies from Nations Insurance Co. and my down payments receipt it had discrepancies with the number's and month's. I made many attempts to contact *** corporate office and Nations Insurance Co. I had no luck reaching anyone.

Nations Insurance Services Response • May 23, 2019

Insured policy incepted 03/11/19 with a down payment made by his broker (***'s) on insured's behalf in the amount of $56.86 (this is the only payment made on risk). Policy was issued at quoted premium and given policy number DMCXXXXXXX. First installment due was on 04/11/19 in the amount of $52.59. Insured did not set up his policy for automatic payment, so the risk canceled effective 04/21/19 for non-payment of premium. Insured mentions risk is a 10 month policy and $197 was provided as the down, this amount included both the insurance premium and a payment to his broker for their assistance in binding insurance. Annual term risk and payment plan chosen by broker is 10% 10 installment with first installment due 30 days from date of inception. Any discrepancy in the monies we received versus what was paid to the broker should be discussed with Insured's broker as they are his representative.

On 05/24/19 I stopped by ***'s office to get a copy of my policy. The manager said she couldn't get copies off her computer. I asked her to call ***'s Rancho Cucamonga office. My copies will be sent to me and it'll take a week or more to receive them. I'll respond back after viewing them.

Nations Insurance Services Response • May 30, 2019

At this time the Company has no further comments to assist the insured until he has retrieved his policy from his broker ***'s Insurance Services.

I can't do to much without the insurance policy. How about sending your copies of my policy to me? I would appreciate it.
