Nations Reliable Lending's compliance department has reviewed this complaint and after conversations with our branch and reviewing emails communications we have found that the followingThe down payment was not mentioned until the final Closing Disclosure was presented to the consumerI have provided the statement from the processor..To whom this may concern,From the start I only worked with [redacted] , the conversation since the beginning was the possibility of buying down the interest rateWhen I quoted the rate she said she would speak to her husband and she called me and said to lock it at 3.75% which I did.I heard from her husband the day prior to closing when the final Closing Disclosure went out and he asked about changing the loan to add an additional 5Ok to lower the payment and I replied "yes, we can do that butit won't close tomorrow" I then asked Steve (Branch Manager) if buyer could recast the loan and he got with Michael (EVP of Secondary Marketing) and forwarded me Michael ***'s reply I told Mr [redacted] exactly what the email stated and Mr [redacted] said we will just close tomorrow since we have movers set up.On Friday 05/05/2017, Mr [redacted] from compliance contacted the consumer to go over the findings of the investigation with himAfter speaking to the consumer Mr [redacted] escalated the call to Mrs [redacted] who then reiterated the findings and suggested that NRL could have him discuss refinancing to get to the desired payment

All obstacles have been cleared and file is closing 09/30/the borrowers worked very hard to overcome what needed to be address

The compliance dept. has address the payment/ billing issue with the Consumer. It was found that it was a misunderstanding with the first payment that was not received here at NRL. The payment that was sent to NRL in March was applied to February therefore we would not be sending a payment to the...

Revdex.com:I disagree with what is proposed to have instigated the misinformation coming from NRL. I do appreciate the attempt to minimize our losses due to the misinformation from NRL.  I'd like the right to reopen the complaint if NRL doesn't follow through with the refund offered in the settlement offer.My thanks to Vicki [redacted]' attention and prompt response.
