I want to share my positive experience with Nation's Choice. After an initial miss-communication (which resulted in me filing a complaint with the Revdex.com), the company contacted me promptly to straighten the issue. Senior management took my concerns very seriously and went out of their way to accommodate my requests (including one of their very senior officers contacting me while on vacation). I have nothing but praise for Nation's Choice on this occasion. The customer service I received is nothing short of exceptional. I have done three previous (successful) refinancing deals and will continue doing business with them.

[redacted] was extremely helpful on our refinance. He showed professionalism in our day to day talks and spent the time to explain each step thoroughly. [redacted] was patient and respectful the entire process and did everything to get us in a great loan to secure our future with our finances and our home.

We plan to recommend [redacted] and use him again if needed in the future. I felt he really treated us equally as if we were the most important client of his day and that really goes a long way!!

Thank you so very much [redacted]!

We will be in touch

[redacted] & [redacted]

I was referred to Nation's Choice by a family member who had previously refinanced with them. I contacted them and they offered me a rate lower than the banks I had contacted. I was able to lower my APR and refinance with a conventional loan, removing the PMI, saving me a couple hundred dollars a month. The majority of the process went smoothly. I found that sometimes conversations contradicted other conversations, but in the end I got what I needed from them. They sold my loan but were funny about just saying so before I signed the paperwork--I knew they would sell it but I got the impression that they weren't supposed to tell the customers this, although I don't know what difference it makes if they sell the loan or not. The whole process for me took only 3 weeks, which was very nice. Overall, I am satisfied with Nation's Choice.

Review: On July 17, 2015, I was looking to refinance my home and used [redacted] to find me the top lenders in the ** that had the best rates and lowest fees. The first one that came up was Nations Choice Mortgage, so I called them. I got in touch with [redacted], Sales Manager. I told her that I would like to refinance my home and needed a quote. She asked me for some personal information such as income, credit score, home loan balance, cash out amount, what I thought the value of my home was, etc. which I gladly provided to her verbally. Once she obtained this information she verbally informed me of the rates and fees I qualified for. There was a substantial amount of information therefore I asked her to email it to me, which she said she gladly would and did at 11:21AM. We continued our conversation and I told her that the fees she's charging are really high and that I was looking for a zero fee refinance with lower interest rate than what I was paying at the time. At that point she said that Nations Choice Mortgage has the best rates and the lowest fees in the industry guaranteed. She continued to say that if they cannot beat a competitor’s price, they'll give me $1,000.00. I said great, send the quotes on over and I'll look it over and do my shopping to see if there are lenders with better rates and lower fees than Nations Choice Mortgage. Low and behold I called about 3 other lenders and all of them had lower fees than Nations Choice Mortgage. I didn't want to bombard [redacted] with all the details I received and instead sent her the lowest rates I found to see if she could beat it at 1:23PM the same day. She tried to call me at around 5:00PM the same day but I was not available so she emailed me saying "I just tried to reach you by phone and didn't have any luck. I am questioning the validity of these quotes. If you receive a GFE please forward it over." I called her soon after and she questioned all the details on the quotes such as does it include all the closing fees etc. I told her it's all there all she needs to do is click on the word “details” and it will show exactly what this lender is charging. She did that and saw that all the closing fees were there however she still asked if I could send her a GFE from this lender to see if she could beat it and that the quote is valid. On July 20, 2015 at 3:24PM I emailed her a copy of the GFE as requested stating that the rate is at 4% however it's at zero cost except for the impound deposit. She replied back to me via email the same day at 8:27PM and said, "A few things, after you proceed make sure you request a GFE that shows that your rate is good to a future date. The date on here says 7/20, which is understandable because they may not be able to lock your rate in until you submit all your paperwork but just make sure that once that happens you request GFE that shows the date the rate is available through is beyond today's date otherwise you're floating and anything can happen. Also it appears that this company is a broker, which means that they are banking on a lender to approve the rate terms and loan as a whole hopefully nothing changes. This is an excellent deal if it transpires. I wish you all the luck in the world and should you close on these terms go ahead and forward me a copy of the final [redacted] to take advantage of our terms guarantee pending qualification." That to me says that Nations Choice Mortgage could not beat it. I emailed her back on July 21, 2015 at 11:40AM and said "Thank you for the heads up. I will make sure to get the GFE locked. Can you explain what you mean by your "terms guarantee pending qualification?" What are the qualifications to take advantage of your terms guarantee?" She never replied therefore I assumed that all I needed to do was send her the final [redacted] like she asked on her email previously. On August 19, 2015 at 12:54PM I sent [redacted] an email and said "Attached is the final [redacted] as you mentioned to me on your email below. I was able to close this refinance with cash out, zero fees at 4% as I originally mentioned. Please let me know what else I need to send to take advantage of your terms guarantee. The [redacted] shows that there was a closing fee of about $1,502 but that was refunded to me by check today from the broker. I can send you the email and a copy of the check if you need proof. I look forward to hearing back from you soon." I did not hear back from her. On August 21, 2015 at around 1:12PM one of her colleagues contacted me to ask me if I have refinanced my home and wanted to follow up with me because the rates have dropped. I told him the history of my conversations with [redacted] and he said he'll forward me over to her because he did not want to be the middle man. Low and behold [redacted] is in a meeting. I asked to speak to a manager and then all of a sudden [redacted] was available. I spoke with [redacted] about the situation and at this point she starts telling that I will not be getting the $1,000 guarantee because I did not qualify. I said, “what do you mean I did not qualify? I sent you everything you asked for and even sent you an email asking what I needed to do to make sure I qualify, which she never responded to. Her reasoning behind the lack of response was because "I get a hundred emails every day and must have missed mine". I told her that “I thought I was doing everything right based on her email response to me.” She continued to say she was sorry but I did not send in a formal application and the only time they would give that is if I did. I informed her that this is not what she said in her email and that she led me to believe that all I need to send her was the final [redacted] because she could not beat the rates. She said sorry again and said there's nothing I can do about it. She said she thought I already had an application in process and that's why she asked me for the [redacted]. I told her that this is not a good way to do business. A guarantee is a guarantee and if she had told me what I needed to do to qualify when I asked, I would have done everything necessary. She continued to forward me to the company’s legal counsel when I told her I was going to report it to Revdex.com. I went straight to voicemail and didn't feel I wanted to waste any more time with them as it was not going anywhere. I would have done business with this company if they abided by their guarantee of the best rates and lowest fees but clearly they could not beat the deal I was offered and closed on 8/18/2015. I would like the $1000 guarantee for not being able to beat a competitors price this company offered to me by one of there representatives at the time of service in July 17, 2015Desired Settlement: I would like the $1000 guarantee for not being able to beat a competitors price this company offered to me by one of there representatives at the time of service in July 17, 2015

First, the complaint is moot, premature, and should beremoved from our complaints against us. As once management was informed of [redacted] request, we immediatelyoffer her 3.875% 30 fixed no cost loan. This offer is .125% better than other Company. We have already sent her theapplication. Just like every otherBorrower who comes to us, we will beat any legitimate Good Faith Estimate aslong as they adhere to our guarantee policy. Though [redacted] didn’t qualify for our guaranteepolicy but we beat our competitor anyway. As for [redacted] she states in her complaint thatshe stated terms “that to me says…” and “I assume”, which are both opinions andnot fact of our Guarantee Policy. Ourpolicy link is below. The lender alsoprovided a WORSE priced loan than the terms [redacted] closed at. The UNLOCKED Good Faith Estimate that [redacted] sent the company states that the credit should be $6,646.25. However, the closing lenders credit atclosing was $5,062.50. [redacted] thengoes on the state the Lender gave her a check for $1,502 after closing which isin violation of [redacted] and [redacted] policy. Also, the statement provided by the borrowerreflects payment of fees outside of closing not reflected on the [redacted]-1, thislikely is a violation of [redacted] that could open up the rescission period andsubject [redacted] Mortgage to fines and civil liability. NationsChoice Mortgage does not and will notpractice such non-compliant loans. So, we are asking Revdex.com to remove this inaccuratecomplaint. As we have abided by ourGuarantee policy which clearly states we have 72 hours to reply, even though wedidn’t have to. [redacted] presented usthe closed [redacted] on August 19th and we sent application at an .125% lower onAugust 21st. The company took no improper action, but in the spiritof customer service and despite the time lost responding to a complaint that ispre-mature, the company will continue to strive for 100% satisfaction. Here is the link to the guarantee:[redacted]

Review: Nations Choice Mortgage has failed to complete a Refinance transaction for my home mortgage. They have failed to follow through on rates and terms that were offered to me. This occurred not once but twice throughout this process. The company moved so slowly in processing my loan that documents expired multiple times over. Three different processors were assigned to my case. At one point, my mortgage was ready for approval and all that remained was approval from their on Quality Control department. It failed to go through in time simply because, "they could not get to it." That caused such a delay that the original appraisal expired. By the time a second appraisal was competed and multiple expired documents were resubmitted, I was told the promised interest rate was no longer available.

The whole process appear to me as a way to delay the process such that my file was ready for approval only after rates went up. It appears fraudulent to me. A business practice that ensures loans with lower rates are delay so that more profitable loans with higher rates are fast-tracked for approval.Desired Settlement: I would like to refinance my loan at the terms that were promised, even said action results in an incurred cost to Nations Choice Mortgage. Is was delays on their part that have created the current situation.

We strive to close customer mortgage loans quickly and to make the mortgage process as easy as possible. Though it took longer than hoped, we have now completed Mr. [redacted] refinance loan request. While the turn times were not ideal (resulting from changes of circumstance, multiple third-parties actions and inactions out of the control of the company), the company made every effort possible to provide the best mortgage customer service available. This included involving the executive vice president and the chief compliance officer in an attempt to resolve the dissatisfaction of Mr. [redacted]. Additional efforts included paying for a new appraisal on behalf of Mr. [redacted] and giving his file priority to ensure a more timely closing. We thank Mr. [redacted] for his patience in completing the loan. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction, we take customer comments seriously, and we use those comments to make us a better company focusing on the customer and to avoid delays such as those that occurred processing this loan application.

Nations Choice ([redacted], [redacted]) really delivered. They were friendly, efficient, and helpful. We were very pleased overall. We would use them again, and we recommend Nation's Choice.

Review: I was told I could refinance my first mortgage. Had to pay $495. Then was told that my debt ratio was high and that I needed to pay off a couple of credit cards. That crediting the $495 would be no problem. I received a letter stating that I 'withdrew' the application. This is incorrect. I still want to refinance but cannot from what I was told. I have not been credited the $495 and my card dispute e-mail states that the issue has been resolved. BUT, I have not been credited the $495. Seems to me that they just made $495 off me and would like Nations Choice to refund me my money since they were the ones that did not come through as they originally stated they would.Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund the $495 back to my credit card as soon as possible and it would be fair to pay the interest too. It's been weeks and I'm paying interest on it.

Dear Revdex.com,

Mrs. [redacted]’s complaint was made prematurely as a result of her credit card company’s failure to timely process the requested refund. I have attached an email from Mrs. [redacted] where she details her error in making this complaint to the Revdex.com. Specifically, her email says that she made the “complaint too soon” and did not allow “time for the refund to post.” Further, Mrs. [redacted] states that she sent “an e-mail to the Revdex.com to disregard the complaint” and “Thanks for the credit.” As this is obviously not an unsatisfied customer, please remove the complaint.

Thank you,NationsChoice Mortgage Customer Service [redacted]

I recently utilized the services of Nations Choice Mortgage to refinance my home. My entire experience, from the loan application to submitting requested loan documentation was conducted in a professional and efficient manner. My loan representative and her assistant are true professionals who know their jobs and the business. There were no misunderstandings and unexplained delays. The entire experience was transparent at every stage. The communication was excellent. My questions and concerns were immediately addressed. Based upon my experience, I highly recommend Nations Choice Mortgage and will utilize their services in the future.

I did five loans in the last six months with total of four lenders. The first three were miserable experiences where everything took three times as long as promised. Then I needed to do another re-fi and came across [redacted] and his assistant [redacted] via [redacted].com. I went with them because they had a great rate. I was more than suspicious of their promise that they could approve my circumstances and close in three weeks when previous loans had taken eight. To my surprise the loan closed as promised and on time. Right after that I was shopping for a new home and had been turned down by three other banks who were not willing to crunch the numbers with my complicated rental finances. The day I funded I requested a pre-approval letter for my next purchase and got it right away. A week later I found a house and locked a rate for home purchase. The loan required double appraisal, so we were just a day or two late to give up my loan contingency, but ended up closing escrow a week early. Again, no surprises in fees or terms. I highly recommend.

I recently refinanced my home mortgage through NationsChoice, and had the great pleasure to work with Dusty N. as my loan officer. I was somewhat skeptical at first, being from out-of-state. Dusty soon dispelled this concern, however. He was professional and "up-front" with the facts, yet always friendly with a great sense of humor. Dusty considers his word to be his bond, and I was able to rely on any representation he made, a refreshing and important quality for me. I have been through many real estate financing deals, and I rate Dusty in the top rank. Communication was quick and easy, never delayed. I recommend Dusty and his team to anyone seeking a customer-friendly experience.

I worked with [redacted] of NationsChoice Mortgage in securing a refinance loan of my primary residence. Everything [redacted] told me came true including a promised fee refund.

If you are going to get a loan from NationsChoice Mortgage work with [redacted]. When everything was said and done I could find no fault with him.

A word of advise for any prospective loan applicant, understand what a locked rate means, when the lock occurs and get it in writing. Make sure you find and understand the clause stating such in your initial documentation.

Review: Have been in contact with Mr XXX (Sr Mortgage Banker) from NationChoice regarding refinancing my house. Submitted all the documents by email requested by him 7 days back. I was told that we could lock the rates the same day. After submission of documents, have not received any response back from Mr XXX (Not even an acknowledgement that he received the documents). Have been trying to reach him for the past week by calling his direct number as well as main office number several times. Also sent multiple reminder emails regarding the status of my loan application. Have not received any response back so far. Frankly this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have had with dealing with a business. It is really sad that I have to resort to this means to resolve my issue with this business.

Dear Revdex.com,Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction, take customer comments seriously, and use those comments to make us a better company focusing on the customer. This complaint resulted from a misunderstanding, a wrong phone number, and improper communication on the company’s part. Since the complaint, the company was able to reach Mr. [redacted] at his correct phone number and is moving forward with the loan process. The customer is aware of the company’s mistaken use of the wrong phone number, apologies for the confusion have been provided, and the company intends to close the requested mortgage loan in a timely matter and to provide exceptional customer service throughout the process. As a background, the customer completed a loan application on December 12, 2014. Later that day, the application was sent to the customer for signature. The customer provided the signatures needed and sent the company an email asking for a phone call. From the date of the application until the date of the December 22nd complaint, the customer’s loan officer made numerous phone calls to the customer. Unbeknownst to the loan officer or the company, the initial numbers provided were incorrect and the customer was not receiving the voice mail messages. After receiving this complaint and verifying the correct phone number, we are happy to report that the customer’s mortgage loan application is moving forward and is expected to close in a timely manner. I have provided the customer my direct phone number for any questions or concerns and will supervise the loan process moving forward to ensure timely and proper completion of the loan application. Sincerely, [redacted]Corporate Counsel

I just completed my second refinance with Donn D[redacted] at Nations Choice Mortgage. He and his co-workers are very professional and I found them very reliable. The process was very efficient, smooth and convenient. I was very pleased the final rate and closing costs were dead on from the initial quote I received, which is why I went back the second time.

I cannot express enough the tremendous gratitude I feel towards Donn D[redacted] and Danielle M[redacted] of NationsChoice Mortgage for all their efforts in getting my loan pushed through very quickly when I needed the loan approved and funded in less than 4 weeks. They were always friendly and there to service my loan. They explained everything as they went. I could not be happier with the results.

Review: We were told by [redacted] that our loan was locked in at a 15 year refinance of 2.875%. We got the appraisal and credit and have signed all our good faith estimate paperwork. We went with this company because they guaranteed our rate lock and we paid a higher interest rate to do that. We were about to close and [redacted] called us to tell us he wants to raise our interest rate to 3.25%. We are considering legal action since we were promised a rate lock of 2.875%.Desired Settlement: I want the rate I was promised.
