Review: I hired this company to install my new hardwood floors 5 years ago and had an issue then and was resolved to a partial satisfaction. I had a leak in my refrigerator which caused some of the floor to warp so I called this company for the repair of the floor. We set up a date and time for the repair and when the day came the guy was an hour late so I called the owner Dave and he said he was on his way. The guy called me to tell me he was in an accident that is why he was late. When he showed up I could tell he was starting to rush. I went to shut off the water to the refrigerator and came upstairs and he was moving the refrigerator and I told him he had to unhook the wheels so it would roll. So we both did that and then he started pulling the fridge out and did not put anything down to protect the floors. He started cutting with no warning and the dust was flying everywhere. Then he put a backpack vaccuum on and in one of the turns he made he hit the refrigerator. I didn't think anything of it. When he was all done I saw him shooting nails into the top of the wood and then filling the holes with putty. I asked what he was doing and he said this is how you do it and I said no way. The cut job along the wall was awful. I was so upset with the mess and the carelessness of the job I told him to get his stuff and leave. I called the owner and told him what happened and he didn't have much to say. After I cleaned up the mess and put a towel under the refrigerator to move it back I noticed the roller marks all across the floor from when he moved it out of the way and then a dent in my refrigerator. I called the owner again and he told me it was a different company he hired and I had to go through them. They told me to deal with the owner. No one is taking responsibility for the damage to the floor and the refrigerator. I called for the repairs and in total for all I am looking at $3,000. Neither company will give me their insurance either.Desired Settlement: I would like the certificate of insurance from both parties involved so I can get my floor and refrigerator repaired
