Review: I parked in a lot in Boise. Paid the meter $7 via my debit card but it would not print a ticket. I called "[redacted]" which the meter had a number for and left a message to them about this. Months later Nationwide sent me a notice claiming I owe them $50. I explained the situation to Nationwide on the phone, gave them my credit card company and last 4 numbers of the card as well as the date the $7 ticket shows up on my bill. They then sent me a letter saying that after reviewing my dispute they reduced what I owe them to $10. Since then I have not been able to get in touch with them. Their phones are constantly busy and when I get through am redirected to a voice mailbox where it tells me the voice mailbox is full. I went their website and it was down the first time. The second I got to it and found an email [email protected] , I sent the below email to them and it was returned the next day as "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)"Dear Nationwide,I'm confused about this notice you've sent me. Notice # [redacted].The original "debt" was in reference to a parking ticket at a "[redacted]" parking lot. I paid $7 to park in this lot but "[redacted]"'s ticket machine would not print a receipt. I called them and let them know about this at the time. The letter you sent to me confirms that my dispute is valid and I never owed "[redacted]" any money. I paid accordingly to the way their system was arranged.You agree with this but instead have decided that I owe you $10.I do not owe you $10.Please stop harassing me about this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like confirmation from Nationwide Debt Recovery Service, Inc. that I do not owe them any money. I would also like to make sure that this incident is completely and totally cleared from any credit report linked to myself.

We forwarded a dispute to our client, [redacted] in Boise and they have reduced the debt to $10.00 and their response to the dispute is as follows

"Remarks: Ticket was issued at 8:10 pm, payment was made for parking at 8:17 pm. Purchased parking after receiving ticket. Parking must be paid for in advance. Will reduce to $10 as a courtesy. Next time, full charge will apply."

Review: This company mailed 2 collection payment notices to me for a debt that was not owed. The phone # listed is not a contact for this company but is in fact an offer for a trip to the Bahamas!!Desired Settlement: Stop the harassing mail requesting the debts.

Review: On or around February 23, 2015, I received a notice from NationWide Debt Recovery re: two parking tickets that were issued by Gonzaga University ([redacted]) on 10/1/14 and 10/27/14. My son thought he had paid the parking tickets, but when he checked with the GU parking services he had not. He immediately paid the tickets on line to Gonzaga University on February 23,2015. On July 7, 2015, I again received notice from NationWide re: the same parking tickets. As before, multiple attempts were made to contact NationWide's office by telephone with no response to voice mails that were left and no one answering the phone during business hours plus the phone number listed on the bill is not a working number. On July 1, 2015, I sent an email to dispute the tickets, as well as, a letter via certified mail that was signed for on or about July 8, 2015. Today, July 28. 2015, I sent another certified letter to NationWide enclosing the receipts from Gonzaga University showing the tickets have been paid. It is frustrating that the numbers provided by this business are either invalid or go to a call system that never picks up or has an option for speaking with a living individual. This issue could have been resolved months ago if NationWide engaged in courteous and responsible business practices. I know my request for a dispute resolution was received both by email and USPS and yet the only communication I get from NationWide is a continued request to pay a bill that has already been paid. I want NationWide to acknowledge that this bill has been paid and stop sending me notices. I also request that any negative reporting to the credit bureau be negated.Desired Settlement: I want NationWide Debt Recovery Services to acknowledge the fact that I do not owe them any money.

If there has been any negative reporting to the credit bureau, I want it removed immediately.

NationWide Debt Recovery Services needs to post valid contact numbers on their requests for payment and in the telephone directory.
