We have recorded messages that were left on her Relatives phone in reference to the collection on this matter as well as recorded messages left on *** *** answering Machine. In addition we have a phone log of all attempt to contact *** ***. They are in violations of the Fair Debt collection Practices Act, and when I requested the supporting documentation they refused to send it to me. Once again we are looking for the actual agreement that states the exorbidant interest and penalties that they state allows them to almost double the principle loan in two years. In lieu of that information they must cease and desist all collection activity against *** *** ***

Nationwide financial group had called me about a debt on a credit card that I owed. The gentleman that called was beyond rude and obnoxious towards me. In any way I do not dispute the fact that I owed the money. His attitude was just horrific towards me and had me in tears. He asked if I could make payments every two weeks so I said yes but not a lot because I have 3 kids to feed. I told him strait out I could NOT afford $100 a month. So he says " what can you afford then?" And I said hmmm let me think a minute, and he says " haha well $99.99 is under $100". That alone was degrading and rude. So I told him no more than $80 and he says okay hang on, then he came back and stated he had to have $100 a month or threatened that legal action was being taken or they were going to garnish my wages. I was so very upset after this. A company should want to work with a person not degrade them and scare or threaten them.

Mr. Christopher,As I stated in our communication on July 16th we were not calling on behalf of your account, for that account was closed as of 6/25/14 and all communication ceased.  The more recent calls were in regards to the account in your wife's name which landed in our office on 7/16/2014.  You have since made it clear that you both are dealing with identity theft and these loans were not taken out by you or your wife.  We have closed your wife's account as well and ceased all communication.  We do apologize for the misunderstanding.  Please feel free to contact us at 866-264-1962 if you wish to discuss this matter further.Sincerely,Compliance Department
