Review: Paid the company to do loan modification since April of last year. Company have not contacted us for a couple of months now. Cannot reach them over the phone, e-mail. It seems the telephone numbers are no longer in service and e-mails cannot be delivered either.Desired Settlement: If they cannot do the loan modification to refund the money which is $3700.

Review: We received a mailing from Nationwide Law Center about obtaining a loan modification. In June 2012 my wife called and they said they could help us, even though she explained that we had filed bankruptcy. They said this would be no problem. We sent them a financial disclosure which also reflected our bankruptcy filing in 2010. We paid them $3,700 up front for their assistance in obtaining a loan modification from our lender. They told us to stop paying our mortgage once we paid them because they would be able to get the modification. Several months later in November 2012 - after many unanswered calls to them about the status of the modification - Nationwide mailed us a letter saying they had decided to close out our file because we had not disclosed the fact that we had filed bankruptcy. Again, we had disclosed the bankruptcy and could not have hidden it from them because it was on our credit report. Nationwide took our money knowing we had filed bankruptcy. We have no idea what, if anything, they actually did to attempt to get us a loan modification. And then they used our bankruptcy as a pretext for closing our file.Desired Settlement: I would like Nationwide to refund the $3,700 we paid to them. They rendered no services and advised us to stop paying our mortgage (which very nearly cost us our home). And if our bankruptcy was going to prevent them from helping us obtain a loan modification, then they should have told us right away instead of taking our money and "closing out" our file.

Review: I would first like to know if this business is in litigation. I have allcorrespondence from these cheats. They promised they could get me a lower mortgage rate and ended up stealing $4000 of my money disappearing and disconnecting the phone. NATIONWIDE LAW CENTER ATTORNEYS AT LAW | A PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION | PROCESSING DIVISION AL- [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my $4000 back

Review: This compnay aproached me via the internet and phone and informed me that they would help me thru the paper work of getting my home mortgage to a lower rate and that they had several clients that they had succesfully done this with 99% of their customers and that they could do this for me. After a year of working with this company and many times I had to contact theme to find out the status of my account I have gave up for their non willing us to get me a loan rate loan. One of their selling points we deal with these mortgage companys all the time so want to help lower your rate when they find out that we are involved well after a year obviously they dont. here is all the company will do call and ask what the status of your account is I was infomed that as a law center they would handle this and make the process work. Well if making a phone call to see were the status of a account is that is not much for a so called LAW center. Disapponted is beyoned words when times are hard and I had to pay all the money up front for them to do the work well after a year that is a bad investment on my part.Desired Settlement: If I could get some of my money back it would be great but for me it is the fact I want this information out their so others do not fall into the trap like I did. this company did not do as stated so i'm informing others of this fact

Review: I hired Nationwide Law Center to do a modification on my mortgage back in later 2012.They been telling me to send paperwork during this process through email, phone calls and faxing, which I have been doing. But since July of 2013 there has been no contact. I call and email them and there is no response. All their email addresses keep bouncing back and their answer machines are full.Desired Settlement: I paid them 3500.00 and would like a full refund or have them complete the job they started in a timely fashion.

Review: Constantly calling my work and other third parties phone numbers. Following this complaint I will also be contacting the FTC for violating my consumer rights. They call my work, co-workers, and family members. If one more call comes to my place of employment I will lose my job. I have spoken to them several times asking them to please send me proof that this so called debt exists via the USPS and not to contact me especially at work. Since I have no idea what their address is, this will publicly serve as my cease and desist request: To Whom It May Concern: This will serve as your legal notice under the FDCPA to cease all communication with me or anyone that I may know in regards to this so called debt. Do not contact me at ###-###-####, ###-###-####, ###-###-####, ###-###-####, ###-###-####, or any other third parties regarding this so called debt. Furthermore, I formally dispute the validity of this debt. Please provide me with the documentation that supports why you believe this debt belongs to me, and why you believe I owe this amount. Please send me copies of the original application for this account, my signature associated with the account, and any bills associated with this account, etc via the United States Postal Service. Please also be advised that a formal complaint has been filed with the FTC regarding your illegal business practices. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.Desired Settlement: Proof of debt

Review: Nationwide Law Center (Attorneys at Law)sent us information in the mail about helping me with my mortgage by getting a lower payment. The agreement was for me to pay them $925 for 4 months so that they could prove that I was capable of making this payment and thereby lower the monthly bill. Nationwide Law Center however would keep this money as payment for them working on my behalf. I filled out all the necessary paperwork to get a loan modification to lower the payment. They received the all four payments and the necessary paperwork and then I could no longer get in contact with them in regards to the modification. They would no longer answer the phone, just waiting for the next customer service rep; the other number stated the voicemail was full and no longer accepting messages. The e-mail address no longer worked. Our contact person was [redacted], whom I heard nothing from since May.Desired Settlement: I would like the money paid for the service I did not receive back minimum, but I feel I deserve more for having been shafted by these liars.

Review: I entered into a contract with nationwide several months ago. The purpose was mortgage contract modification. They would provide service and I would make four scheduled payments for that service.Prior to sending any payments I was able to call and talk with them, if they did not answer the call they would return it in a reasonable time.Since I started making payments they have stopped answering the phone, they have stopped returning messages. If I email them they ignore the mail. Two weeks ago unexpected I get an email from a [redacted]. Looking at my phone records I could see she had made one attempt to contact me before she sent me that Email which read. ( it is important that you contact me, If I don't hear from you I will close your file for non compliant ) I made numerous attempts to reach her.A few day's after that a man stopped by my house and posted a foreclosure notice on my door.In the state of [redacted] once I enter into negotiations with the bank all foreclosure movements by the bank must stop during that process yet I am receiving notices. So I have sent nationwide Emails asking for verification documents and bank contact information to validate that they are in contact with the bank and that actual work is being done.I have made a dozen phone calls. NO REPLY from them at all.At this point I have given them $ 1850.00 with no knowledge that they are even legit. I have a small window to respond to the foreclosure notice, than it is to late for me. according to our contract I am required to make another payment within the week. It is important that they forward me the information I requested. I need to address why the bank seems to not be complying with [redacted] law. And I have a small window to do this in.It seems that if Nationwide is a legit company they would not be acting as if they are a scam.Desired Settlement: I need them to verify they are in negotiations with the bank. So I no how to respond to the notice. I need bank contact name, and any support documents. They need to contact me if they are a legit company. They need to do it immediately. If not either, they need to refund my $ 1850.00

Review: I hired this company to assist me in achieveing a loan modification I paid them approx $7,000. Now they do not answer their phone or repond to email requestes. I think I have been scammedDesired Settlement: I want my money back.
