Whatever you do DO NOT hire this companyThey are the worst moving company I have ever had the BAD experience of hiringI am a realtor and will NEVER EVER recommend themAll they wanted to do was keep charging me for more and more thingsI knew exactly how many cu feet I had and they just kept trying to say I had more because the truck was full with other peoples loads and they couldn't fit a few boxes (no furniture) on the truckThen a week & a half passed delivery date they wanted to charge me extra because they had to walk from the end of the driveway to the front doorMeanwhile I was carrying the boxes up the stairsNever mind the lost boxes and broken items that I called almost everyday for and to file a claim is worse that getting a mortgage!!!!!

Nationwide Moving and Storage is a HORRIBLE companyRUN as FAR away as you canI just recently did a cross country moveThere were a list of things that made me upset during my moveI was quoted a price over the phone and after the movers came to get my boxes the price shot up by $dollarsAnd the only thing that the company could tell me was that there were extra charges that needed to be added to wrapping tv's and glass, moving down one flight of stairs, room that my boxes took up in the truck (mind you I told them exactly how many boxes that I had) and the rest was miscellaneousWhen I complained to a manager, he responded that your job should have actually cost 2, more than we quoted youThey told me it would take 7-days for my items to reach, then they changed it to 7-business days, then it was changed to business daysWhen calling Nationwide everyday to inquire about my belongings they screened the calls and but me to voicemail until I blocked my number then someone miraculously picked upUpon my furniture arriving on the 20th business day, the truck couldn't fit in the complex, so I had to pay for a U-Haul and pay extra for the movers to unload my furniture into the houseAfter unpacking my furniture I discovered a gash in my headboardThis was the worst experience I have ever had!!!!!!!!! Do not do it to yourself!!

This company could not be more unprofessional. They are not willing to schedule you on a single date and in a several hour window for pickup and then they offend you when you nicely tell them you decided to go with another company. I have a ridiculous email thread with this company and then they proceeded to submit my information to moving.com with incorrect information so I have been getting flooded with calls from other movers. If everyone in this company is close to as unprofessional as [redacted], your move is going to be a nightmare.

I used this movers: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

1. They horrible on timings either pickup or delivery.

2. They broke couple of my items. They claim process was very horrible.. so left them without claim I spend from my pocket to fix my washer/dryer doors. and some furniture became unusable. Still the process were very hard and time consuming way like send pics / mails/ etc. I hate and left without claim.

3. They guys/loaders who come to pick-up/load the items are demanding for more dollars like $300 or more as a tips. Else they threatening me that they may not handle the items safely, also telling that they will put more charge than what quoted already. Since I was at the last day to travel I paid them their demanded money (as a time - SHAME) and drove to my new location. I was paid $300.00 because of the fear of their talks and my last day to travel.

4. They are not giving me the receipt till date for the amount I paid. Only I got receipt for the partial payments. I guess they are doing some TAX cheat or so.. by not giving receipts to customers, which is illegal.

RUN AWAY!!! from this company.

In 2011,We hired Nationwide to move our household from Zion,IL to the Dallas area. They were never on time. The workers were rude and uncooperative. My husband requesTed a very old! box be repacked. The box contained irreplaceable antique Glassworks from my mother. They did NOT repack it, and the box was crushed and every piece of glass crushed to powder. I had asked the cost of additional insurance; I was told $10,000.flat.At the end of the move, the truck was two weeks late and the driver held my goods hostage for a cash payment. I was also missing two or three cartons of goods. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO MY WORST ENEMY. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!
