This customer called in to our office on Wednesday August 19th and said that one of her door sensors was acting up and that she wanted to schedule a service call for the next dayWhen she was informed that we didn't have an opening on the schedule for the next day and that it would have to be on
Friday she became irate and said that she has accounts with us that she would cancel if she didn't get what she wantedWe try to accommodate our customers schedules as much as possible but in this case didnt have the on demand time available that this customer demandedThis customer has a contract with us and has stopped paying her bill and now is being sent to collections

Thank you for the copies of your billsThis shows that no payments have been made on your accountLike I stated before, we are happy to service your account if you bring your bill currentAs of right now, this account has been sent to a collection company

You were given month of service free and we mailed you a check for another month of serviceThat is months free

Please call the service department at 1-800-908-and schedule the service and let them know that this was authorized by the vice president

Unfortunately Monitronics dosent allow us to put your account on holdYour contract is owned by Monitronics

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: Counting a delay in direct withdrawl at the beginning of my contract because your sales person quoted a lower monthly payment than you could provide does not count in giving me back my money for service interupted and your lack of speed to get it resolved
I will not accept that as part of a considered refund for services I paid for that I got no benefit of. This is likely the poorest consideration I have seen. I will accept anything less than months of refunded service (even though it was more than mos) for this ridiculous mess that you should consider as part of doing business where your industry is in centered around technology and service. You dont make this the clients fault. This is the business's responsibility to provide a product and service worthy of a charge. This is not the case here. Please refund my money

We have went out to this customers home at no cost to try and remedy a problem that has nothing to do with the security systemThe security system is 100% functionalThe problem is the doorbell camera isn't getting enough WiFi upload speed that is administered by ComcastEach time our technician
leaves the home the doorbell is working properly but the customers Internet signal is fluctuating and causing the doorbell to go in and out of signalWe have informed the customer to contact Comcast about this issue

I show on your account that we haven't heard from you since May If there is a service issue with your equipment then you need to call the number that is on your control panel that says call for service *** We will be happy to come out and check your system and replace any parts if

I reject the response as the company's assertion was that they received a response from my parents' attorney I work for several law firms as a contractor but to date no firm has been retained to represent my parents In any event, this company and each of their representatives who have dealt directly with my parents, starting with the sales rep, were all aware that my parents were under a contract with another company, continued to deal with my parents to get them to enter into a contract with them under the belief that they would transfer everything which was never doneThis company also failed to provide any documentation regarding city permits, licensing, etc., to be filed with the city, and failed to have the monitoring company set up their account This company is aware and have recordings as to the facts surrounding this claim, the fact that the change over was never made as agreed, they were aware of the confusion and difficulty and of all facts previously set forth One of their reps even sat at their dinner table and ate with them This complaint is not resolved. rejecting this response because: I am filing this complaint at the request and on behalf of my elderly parents who are the customersThe customer name is *** *** *** *** *** Garland, Texas I provided their customer # in the complaint and identified myself as their daughter and them as the customer After lengthy conversation with the owner of the company, he is well aware of the customer name, number, the complaint, the fact I am their daugther and my nameHe also admitted to being on the phone with my mother recording a conversation between her and the company with whom they were trying to break her previous contract (committing tortious interference) admitting that their salesman was aware they were under contract with another company, made recorded attempts to terminate such contract, lied about the type of equipment and the way the contracts would be switched over; and furthermore, used my parents' advanced age and health against by confusing what they were doing and going to doFurthermore, my parents were confused why the installers were waiting outside their home to do an immediate change staying in their home until 10:to 11:p.m This company is fully aware of this customer, of my identity, of the salesman who used fraud and tortious interference to dupe my parents into signing a contract while under another and now refuse to receive their equipment and rescind the contract as repeatedly asked by my parents, teh customers Sincerely,*** ***

Our records show that you were mailed the check for the referral fee some time backWe are happy to provide you a new check and cancel the old oneThat is no problem at allWe are also happy to provide you copies of the documents and other items showing you were asked more than four separate times independent of any other interaction, if you could afford the cost and if you had any concernsIn every case you confirmed there would be no problemsWe are sorry it has become a problem now, but this concern comes months after the factFurther, we often find that customers that raise payment concerns at this late of a juncture, have often chosen to use their funds for other items which may not be necessaryIf you can provide us verification of the hardship, we are certainly happy to consider, as we always do for our customers

You have effectively disregarded the entirety of my complaint, as well as continued to do this with other customer complaints that are identical that I have researchedYou, as a company, are responsible for what your sales representatives do, and if they are misrepresenting the company, than they (and you) are at faultWe agreed to a contract regarding price and coverage, and were informed there was no duration of the contract, we could cancel at any time if we were not satisfied with the service, which we were notIf you are still refusing the proposed solution, we will unfortunately have to seek alternative resolutions via legal counsel

Please report the forgery to your local police department and submit the report number to us and we will submit all documents and recordings to them to get this situation resolved

The response from nationwide stated another company owns my contract, which is totally different story then I got when talking with the other company( monitronics)This is also different than what the nationwide representative said to me via our phone conversation, they advised me to wait out my first year with nationwide and then they give my contract to monitronics for remaining time of my contractSo up until now I've been pleased with the alarm system and all the extras but the customer service sucksAfter receiving the reply from nationwide on here I feel like I'm being lied to, I want the truth and a reasonable explanation on why my account can not be put on hold for a few months while my house is being built?

I am rejecting this response because: That's what it shows to you, all about money.No service at least that is what it shows to me, that even when the service has been discontinued you continue charging me for no service and when your people call me about alarms they never offered a solution to the problem, maybe that's how you people make your money on collection because if it were for providing a good service you probably be out of business a long time agobut if you admit that you install a defective equipment in my house using sensors from the alarm system that was in place from NorthStar and because of that you make break alarms calls and then charges to my banking account then we can come to an agreement, because not everything is about money, in your case should be about customer satisfaction and care
