Nationwide Vehicle Assurance Reviews (5)

This company owes me a refund. Going on 12 weeks to process the refund and still as of 8/6/19, they can’t tell me who will be sending me my refund.
The very first time I had a claim they denied my claim. I paid over 3000.00 dollars for this warranty and the can’t even tell me when I’ll receive my refund. As you can see all of the reviews are rated 1 Star, that’s in itself tell you something, this is NOT a good company’s all.

+1

Review: Last night I filled out a request for a quote from [redacted] Warranty. I did not contact another company but while reading [redacted] site, I got a call from auto warranty. Asked if I just filled out a request for a quote. Seeing that was only company I contacted that day or night, I assumed that it was [redacted]. I bought my warranty. They gave me a customer service number to call if I had any issues. It was different then [redacted] ###-###-####. I called their number back ###-###-####. Told they were the same company WRONG!!!!!!! Today [redacted] called me about my quote request. I informed the agent I had already bought [redacted]. He went to check, Meanwhile I called ###-###-####. They said they would check and see who was calling me. Meanwhile [redacted] came back on to say no warranty bought by me. Nationwide came back on. This guy got nasty and I got nasty back. It ended up I wanted my ordered canceled TODAY and I was reporting to [redacted] and Revdex.com. I was informed that they were going to make it hard to cancel and get my refund. I told [redacted] what was going on as one on house phone and another on cell. After hanging up on Nationwide Assurance, I called back number and did not press customer service but account changes, this guy was told I canceled my debit card as only way to stop his payment and threat of making it hard to cancel and get refunded, Told him turn into State and Revdex.com told me to go ahead as it didn't matter to them.Desired Settlement: They stop hacking [redacted] site request for quotes and stop saying the same company when not. [redacted] has a Revdex.com A+ rating and one said F for Nationwide and another said no rating. These people are rude, hateful and are sharks. Sorry but this 75 year old Grandmother is Italian and from [redacted] originally and did not get intimidated by their MAFIA like tactics.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

[redacted] was easy and professional in handling my refund. TY Revdex.com for your help

Regards,

Review: I was pressured into securing a warranty for my car. I told [redacted] I could not until I confirm with my husband. My husband said no. I had not given them the VIN # off of my vehicle. So I finally make contact with [redacted] because they had already taken money from my account without the VIN#. I told them I did not want the trial period I just want my money back. He tells me they cannot give me money back unless they have my VIN # I refuse to give it to them. They had sufficient information to take my money. [redacted] gives me supervisor [redacted] who tells me "it's just $25" and I need to write to the company and it will take about three months. I need my money backDesired Settlement: Refund and cancellation of overpriced policy

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I received a voicemail from the Compliance director (no name given) I returned his call and I was told that once I receive the thirty day packet in the mail I would have to return it with a letter stating why I did not want the program. I did not give the young man any argument he said his name was [redacted] He sounds just like [redacted] who initially told me that I would not be getting my money back for at least 90 days, and that it was only $25. These are the exact words used by [redacted]. The run around continues I have NOT received the packet in the mail. The thirty day trial is running out and they are going to try to retrieve additional funds from my account. I told these people the day of our initial contact please do not do anything until I speak with my husband. He said he had a recording of our conversation he did not play it for me. I do not want to hear it anyway, I know that I do not want to be a member of the Nationwide Vehicle Assurance Co. I just want my $25 back, I should not even have to mail anything back to them, I feel intimidated and undermined I am on disability with a low budget , I can not allow corporate America to take money from me. I would prefer no further contact with these people just a refund.

This company called me on the phone and I told them that I definitely didn't want a policy. About 10 days later I received a membership package with my new coverage. I called the next day and talked with one of their agents explaining what had happened. He said he would check the recording. When he came back he said that I had not purchase has ed the coverage and he would take care of it and a complete refund would be sent. That was January 6th. On January 24 the check had not arrived and I tried calling the extension the agent had given me. No answer. After the third try, I stayed on line to talk to a different agent, after she heard what I had to say she hung up. I called back and asked to talk to a manager. The manager was not polite, and said that I had indeed purchased the contract and asked if I would like to hear it. When I asked if she had listened to it she said nothing. She kept saying it wasn'the hard to follow the rules. She went so far as to tell me it was the law to follow these directions. When I queried about this being a law, she never answered the question and never raised that defense again. My problem was that if I sent back the documents and contract book I wouldn't have proof and they would keep my money.
After speaking several times with my banking financial service, who told me to send nothing to them, I filed a complaint with Visa and copied the relevant pages from the book and sent it back with a sign I ture required. It was delivered February 1. Waiting for word of refund.
According to the return procedure they will keep 10% of the money they had no right to in the first place. So unfair.

I just received a unsolicited phone call from this company. They told me I had to have this insurance as they were the underwriters on my financing on my car and that I must have this insurance. They told me I could make one payment of $4,500 to cover the vehicle for the next 5 years. I asked the woman to send me information in writing she confirmed my address. I said I would wait for the information to arrive in the mail. She asked me to hold and a man got on the phone and asked me what the problem was. I said do you have a website? He gave me http://nwvacoverage.com I went there and none of the links go anywhere. I was checking this while on the phone with him. I said I am not going to give you any money today over the phone without any verification of this so called insurance that you are saying I am required to have by my financing company. He hung up. So be careful out there I could see someone getting ripped off by this company.
