Review: I hired Nationwide Moving services for a cross country move from [redacted] NJ to [redacted], CA in January 2012. Upon delivery of my items, one of the boxes containing my jewelry box and all of my jewelry was missing. I contact Nationwide several times in an effort to resolve this. I was hung up on, transferred and promised calls back, which I never received. I sent an email to their headquarters and they outsourced my complaint to a 3rd party company. Days later, this company contacted me again, saying that their contract with Nationwide had been terminated and they would no longer be handling my claim. I contacted Nationwide again to ask them what the next step would be. They wrote back that they were sending my claim to an internal claims department and that they would be contacting me shortly. That was on March 1st and I have not heard anything from them since. They have ignored two follow up emails and they have stopped taking or returning any of my phone calls.Desired Settlement: I would like my box to be found and returned to me. All of my boxes had my name and phone number written on the box and they all should have been kept together. The general state of the boxes that I did receive from the company, combined with the fact that only the box with my jewelry in it was missing leads me to the conclusion that someone at Nationwide opened my boxes and deliberately stole my jewelry.
