I would just like to state that I've been doing hairprofessionally for 11 years. I work with the Cosmetology school anddo a variety of Classes teaching students color, hair care, braiding, extensions. I'm interning for [redacted] as an Ask Expert Educator.I also have an assistant [redacted] who is...

booth renting and workingunder me. I've had established Cliente for 9 years who if you wantnames I can give you any one of them could vouch for my service, dedication, professionalism and client care services. This is my first complaint to the Revdex.com, and I have to say there will be norefund for the service, I already refunded the tip amount in goodfaith. This client didn't like her hair, but I did the service thatwas requested, she paid me $95 and even tipped me $14. She was happy with her hair when she left the salon and then when shegot home she wasn't. And as for her "doing me a favour by comingto my salon" I have full cliente, I don't take walk in's and amby referral only, so she chose to come to me. I did the service as requested. I even offered to fix it for free at my firstopen time. She left a negative complaint on my [redacted] App before Icould fix what she didn't like.  I tried calling and gotblocked. I tried to leave a message, but it wouldn't go through. So,I thought maybe I'll send her a text so she knows this is importantto me. She didn't' respond. I tried calling a third time thinking it was my phone or I wasdialling a wrong number. This time I got through and I asked for[redacted], but she didn't' answer her mom did. Her mom said [redacted]was busy doing her hair getting ready for work and couldn't talk."I told her this was really important wouldn't take very long andneeded to talk to her because if someone leaves the feedback likewhat she did, I needed to make it right. I needed her to understandthat her hair was important to me and that I would do what ever tomake it right. Her mom refused to let me talk to her and started tosay I messed up her hair. I then tried to explain my end of the storyabout her hair and she kept cutting me off. So, I told her she needed to stop and listen to me.  I explained that lastyear she had put a color on her hair.  When you use box dye thatmakes what ever service I do a color correction. [redacted]'s hair wasvery damaged, so I was concerned about doing an extreme brown toblonde on her color that it wasn't going to happen in one session. Her mom then started to say I didn't know what I was doing, and Ithen again explained to her in detail the process of doing a balayagetechnique and that with the previous color on her hair I could onlyget her to this point right now. And I was willing to fix what shedidn't like to the best of my services.  Her mom then, canceledthe appointment to fix her hair.  There was nothing I could doat this point so, I just said "alight whatever" I hungup.  To me at that point, she was no longer a client. Then not minutes later a bad review showed up on my [redacted] page. So, Iblocked her feeling like this was slander and attacking.  Then[redacted] texted me saying she was going to "spread the wordabout me" and I replied with "you know there is a thingcalled slander" I decided to unblock her from [redacted] sopeople could see the response after she filed this complaint. After a few of my clients respond to the review she removed itand changed her name on [redacted], but still kept the 1 star review. Iwas going to post her response to their questions, but she removedthe post before I could screen shot it. I told [redacted] during the service that this was a progressivething that I can't just go from dark to light.  I was reallyconcerned about breakage, so I made the best judgement I could andchoose not to keep going with the lightening process.  I toldher to use [redacted] as a take home after care. It was $28 for it.She didn't purchase the product, which I was telling her that if wewere to continue to bleach out her hair she was going to need all thehelp she could get because of the damage. I told her, it will be thecolor it is now, lets wait a while and try the service again after amonth.  I can only do so much, to remove orange or brassy hair when the hair is extremely damaged. I tried toning thehair, it didn't change the color.   If I would have keptbleaching her hair that day, I can assure you it would have brokenoff. It was my goal to preserve the integrity of her hair.  Ialso explained to her that you can't at times achieve the desiredcolor in one shot. The comment I made when I removed thebleach was “it wasn't going to be a very strong color”, when youbalayage the hair it only penetrates the top layer of the hair, itwould have created a more blended sombre technique. The picture sheshowed me was a sombre where strands of hair are painted startingabout 2 inches from the scalp where I had placed the bleach. I wasonly doing what the client requested.  As for cussing, I'm noteven sure what she is talking about, I have [redacted] and the otherclient there at the salon as my witness.  If need I couldprovide a statement from them. Clients bring us pictures all the times of unrealistic thingsthey want done to their hair. Its our job to to try to achieve arealistic compromise.  I even told her it wouldn't look like thepictures she showed.  [redacted] had come to me, lastyear for highlights. She had over processed hair to begin with. Shethen colored her own hair at one point and after that I fixed it byputting an all over color on it.   This appointment sherequested either highlights or balayage. I explained the differencein the two techniques and what would be the best for her hair toachieve a sombre look. I did the balayage technique on her hair and because of theprevious color I informed her that this was a process to get to alighter color, that it wouldn't happen this time that it would takeseveral visits.  I also informed her that the ends of her hairwere breaking off and she was in need of a cut badly.  She saidshe was going to come back in a few weeks to do the cut. I triedshowing her the ends of her hair, and its extremely noticeable in thephotograph that I took when her back is fully toward me.  Iasked if I could get a picture and she said "yes, but don't getmy face because I'm not wearing makeup" In conclusion, I feel I don't owe [redacted] any money.  I didthe service that was requested and she was happy when she left andtipped me. I offered to fix what she didn't like about it and thenher Mom canceled the fix appointment. She didn't give me anopportunity to make it right. Then slandered my name on 2 media sitesthreatened to slander "spread the word" about my businessand now on here with the Revdex.com.
