Natural Concepts, Inc. Reviews (4)

Mr. [redacted] cancelled his web hosting with Natural Concepts on October 13. The account was closed, the web page files mailed to him, and his domain names transferred to a new hosting provider when he found one. It doesn't make any sense for him to think I should be responsible for advertising that he purchased AFTER he cancelled his account with us. Our web hosting services are on a month-to-month basis and can be cancelled at any time, which he did. In fact, I only hosted his web site for six weeks!

There were no prepaid updates that he has lost out on. He was paying a monthly fee to manage the site and host it. Now he has someone else to do that for him. If he has problems with editing photos he needs to talk to his current hosting company. His web site worked perfectly when we were hosting it. Also, Google Analytics isn't some secret code, it is a standard web site visitation analytics service through Google that we use to monitor web site success. The analytics was cancelled as part of his hosting cancellation. He just needs to have his new hosting company set it up for him again.

What he needs to be concerned about is getting caught for creating fake profiles to entice potential customers to spend money and join his dating web site. It is one thing to create these profiles, but he was sending emails to prospective members pretending to be the men and women in the fake profiles.

I have been in business for 19 years and have no complaints against Natural Concepts. Mr. [redacted] just doesn't understand the nature of canceling and transferring a web site and wants to blame someone for his current problems. I provided a custom designed, database driven web site that worked as requested. As for his communication complaint, he would often call and say he had left a message last week, when in reality it was only a day or two before.  Because of this, I repeatedly asked him to put questions and work requests in writing so that I could respond to them and have a record of communication. I wish his new hosting company the best of luck in dealing with his idiosyncrasies.

Mr. [redacted] hired Natural Concepts to design and develop a custom web site, which we did. However, in less than two months he decided to move to a different web hosting company. We received his cancellation of services request on October 14, for immediate cancellation of web hosting services. We...

backed up all of his web files for him and mailed them to him on a CD. We left his web site up and running so that he would have time to find a new web host and he wouldn't have down time during the transition. As soon as he found a new firm, we transferred his two domains to them. We provided all content and password information to him at this time. Unfortunately, he paid for ready made dating profiles for his dating web site AFTER he cancelled his account with us and after we had backed up his files and mailed them to him. I explained to him that any advertising or profile purchases he made after he cancelled his account was not something that we could back up and save.

The final back up his web page files was made on October 20th and mailed to Mr. [redacted]. He was notified of this and he should not have been spending advertising money or purchasing dating profiles until he had a new hosting company. The account had already been cancelled.

We charged a fair market price for a custom designed web site of this size and scope and completed it to his satisfaction and it was functioning correctly. However, we are not responsible for his 30 members or $380 he spent for dating profiles after he cancelled his account. We have his cancellation email dated October 14, requesting cancellation of services effective as of October 13.

WE do have  a couple of test models to find out what the customers needs and wants are so that we can enhance our system and make it more enjoyable for our customers. Natural consepts suggested we put over 150 thousand profiles on our website and we decided against it because we did not want to decieve our customers now they are tring to blame me for there slow actions. Natural concepts has never built a dating site per  Mr  [redacted] so they choose to buy an already built program and not to mention they put the domain name in there name. Buyer Beware of such I have nothing else to say but warn future customers to natural concepts

The Fact that the 380.00 was for advertising Not purchasing Profiles through Google , His Name was on everything even after the 20th along with passwords and email, Not once Did [redacted] say to stop advertising. To This Date I am unable to modify Photos sent by other members validating the legitimacy  of there photos Even during the building I  found out later that the domain name was not in our name, Natural concepts has even put a code in my program monitoring it through google anylatics. The Cumminication was horrible , I have also lost future upgrades that Natural Concepts had promised to add in the future, Which I have to pay somelse to do.    Sometimes we would email or call Mr [redacted] on issues related to the site and would not hear from him for a week this is not how you run a buisness as I  should know because I run several buisness and always have a happy customer or return there phone calls in an timely fashion.   Once agian I would be wary of hiring Natural Concepts and make sure your program or design works in full
