While Scofero's workers were working in my house they did Thousands of dollars worth of damage to my Furniture , Kitchen Cabinets and Personal Die Cast car collectionHis Electrician ruined a brand new range hood and workers contracted through him flooded my powder room and broke a toilet seatwater undermined a portion of the powder room floorJoe was never on sight, to observe what was happening And when questioned about damages his workman shrugged it offWhen confronted with these damages ,Joe said " He would Take Care of it" on three separate occasions When early estimates were sent to Joe, to this day he has ignored themI have a broken dining room table and scratched and marred up Mahogany Bedroom furniture and Walnut dining room setAnd scratched and dinged up Kitchen CabinetsThey also marred up my oak bedroom floorsNot to mention a Die cast car collection that now has no value because they are broken and scratched upI had to have someone come in and remove paint
I recently had my home destroyed by smoke due to a garage fireI called Joe, said just that, and asked if his company would provide a free estimate to have the house brought down to the studs and rebuildHe told me, "yes', then immediately started fishing for how much money I'd have to work withI advised him that he did not need that information to give me the estimate I needed
This raised an immediate red flag but I decided to meet him at the house to see if he'd give a competitive estimate
Once he arrived, he barely had an interest in measurement or viewing but, more boldly, starting asking about money again, which insurance company I had and the adjuster's name so he could speak with him/herHe told me that his estimate would be right in line with the adjuster'sWhen I reminded him that he was competing with other potential contractors, he informed me that he would be charging me over $for the estimateThis man was argumentative and very abrasiveI called him out for the lie over the phone, told him to stop talking and herded him to the door
