Review: When my family went for our February checkups we were told our dentist was on leave and another dentist was filling in for him. It turns out the other dentist who has since bought the practice from our old dentist does not take our insurance, she is considered out of network so she wants us to pay the difference that would have been covered by our plan if she was in network which our usual dentist is. We were never told before our appointments or after that she was an out of network dentist and that having her do the work even our check ups which are free under our insurance would cost us money. When I contacted the office in May when I got the bill for my son's charges the office waived them but then on October 24th I was sent a bill for charges from February. I object to these charges because we were not told about the difference or given a option to not have her see us to avoid the extra charges. I assume the office will also be sending a bill to my husband Damian since all three of us had appointments the same day.Desired Settlement: I want them to no charge my husband or I the other charges since we were not informed of the difference or given any other options at our appointment.
