I would like to start off by stating that Hidden Lake Outfitters takes a strong stance against animal abuse and
any demeaning statements made by either our employees or our subsidiariesWe have been in business for over years and this is the first complaint we have had in this nature and these allegations have been taken very seriouslyAfter completing an internal investigation regarding the two incidents alleged by Mr***, we have found no evidence to confirm his accusationsMy conversations with the sub-guide responsible for guiding their hunt revealed a difficult hunt with appropriate camp accommodations that unfortunately did not result in a successful harvest of a mule deer and it is my opinion that is why the claimant is asking for a refundThe clients are new to mule deer hunting and were not physically prepared for the arduous physical requirements necessary to hunt at 9000+ feet, even though these difficulties were explained to Mr*** prior to the hunt
We find it unfortunate that Mr*** and his son were unable to harvest a deer during their recent hunt, but do not deem their lack of success a requirement for a refundWe also have found no evidence that the allegations made are correct and will not be providing a refund for his accusations either

I did not see your department's response on where you closed the case until days agoSorry about that, but *** ***'s reply to use was wrong on accountsFirst of all, my son and I did not file this complaint against him and Hiddenlake Outfitters because we did not get a deerSecond, his guide did use the "N" word on even though my son showed him a picture of his wife who is black, and his guide did kick and hit the horses in the head on the huntWe saw him and heard himThird, *** *** stated we were not in shape to hunt at feetThis is an outright lie like the rest of the stuff he said in his reply to our complaintI myself go the gym to times a week where I walk to miles a day, lift weights, do sit ups and push ups, can do flights of stairs on the stair master, and swimI have a clear bill of health from my heart doctor and family doctorMy son is in better shape than I amI also wore my hunting boots when walking and usually carried a pound rucksack on my back*** *** claims he did an internal investigationWhat a lieHe is just trying to cover upPlease reopen this caseI am sorry about not getting on this sooner, but now that I have seen his response, I want this case reopenedMy son and I would like some refund for having to put up with this guide who made our hunt very unenjoyableThe hunt cost us $each so we would be satisfied if we at least got $back eachHowever, we could do with 1/that each if *** would admit his guide was wrongWe are fair minded and good peopleWe do not want to take advantage of anyone, but think it is only fair for what we had to put up with*** is the president of Nevada Outfitters and they have an ad in the Nevada Hunting magazine which says they adhere to the highest ethical standardsIf *** is true to what his ad says, then *** knows we are right and did not make this upThank you and please reopen this caseThank youWe did not make this up

I have already sent a reply regarding the internal investigation done by *** *** and Hidden Lake Outfitters*** is not telling the truth by saying that his investigation did not find out that our allegations were trueHis guide that took us on the hunt did use the "N" word on more than one occasion event though my son showed the guide a picture of his black wifeThe guide did kick and hit the horses in the head with his fist on more than one occasionFinally, my son and I were in great shape for this huntSo *** lied all the way aroundIt is our word against his guide's word and ***'s wordHis excuse that he has been in business over years and never had a complaint filed against him does not hold waterThere is always a first time for everythingFinally, The Outfitters guide in the *** *** *** of states that the guide outfitters adhere to the highest ethical standards in order to provide a safe and enjoyable huntWe did not have an enjoyable huntBesides just sitting on a mountain side all day and glassing for deer, which is all we did, *** told us that if we didn't have our deer after the first couple of days, they would organize and try to drive the deer toward usThat did not happen eitherHe also told me on the phone that it had snowed and the deer had moved down so we might be hunting a lower levelWhen we got to his ranch, the weather had gotten better so he said we would be going up into the mountainsAs I said before, my son and I would at least like some of our money back because *** did not live up to his part of the bargain as well as the terrible experience we had with the guide he provided usIf he even gave us just $a piece, we would feel that *** was not taking advantage of usWe had never hunted with a guide beforeThis has made us very leary of hiring a guide in the futureWe only want what is fair and rightShouldn't a man who provides what he called a "professional hunt" have enough pride to do the right thing
