As for the response of Candace D[redacted], I do not accept it and see no resolution offered. She did not ask me to leave due to disruption, but because I posted an unfavorable review online after she was incredibly rude to me when I asked about the change in business practices and calmly said I felt she would lose customers with the change. She got more verbally aggressIve and I told her I did not appreciate her talking to me that way, especially in front of other customers. Ms. D[redacted] certainly has the right to change her offers.  She does not have the right to berate me in front of customers. After she saw the online review, she came back into the pedicure room, told the tech to stop, asked me to leave and gave me a refund on my future package, but not for the manicure and pedicure I was in there getting. The tech had only removed the polish from one foot. I stated that I'd like her to finish, as the refund didn't include today's services. She stated, "That's what you get for posting on [redacted]." Only then did I get upset with her, as she owed me either a manicure and pedicure, OR the $55.00 I paid for the services. She refused both, told me that was all I was getting and told me to get out of her salon. Rather than cause a scene, I left without a manicure or pedicure, or my $55.00.I have worked in public relations and advertising for many years. Frankly, I've never been spoken to with such disrespect. As an advertising account executive in my early career, I cold called on businesses every day. I was never thrown out in all those years. This was a first, and rather than being a salesperson, I was a customer!Ms. D[redacted] owns the business, and as the owner, certainly has the option to refuse service. But she does not have the right to take payment, then throw someone out and refuse a refund. I ask again for my $55.00 refund, as it was not my choice to forfeit the services that day.

Review: On 7/28/16 I came in for my appointment for a manicure/pedicure. As I checked in, Jackie told me that AFTER TODAY, I had one pedicure and four manicures left on my frequent customer series card. She also told me they were no longer doing the packages due to "customer abuse", that customers weren't following the rules for the expiration date. Ok....seemed unfair to good customers who respected the rules set forth. The owner, Candy, just threw me out of her salon because I complained about them punishing loyal, long term customers rather than telling the people who abused the packages they couldn't use them after the expiration date. She literally tore into me in front of other customers. I then posted on [redacted] what happened and she came in with a check for $115 to refund me on the remainder of my packages. She told the girl to stop my pedicure and for me to leave. I pointed out that the refund didn't include today's services and I wanted to finish for what I paid for. She not only refused to let the girl continue, but also told me she wasn't giving me back the money for today! I had to leave with nail polish removed from one foot...no other services provided for my $55 today! She still owes me for today's appointment since she refused me service after I paid.Desired Settlement: A refund of $55 for the manicure/pedicure she refused to do even though it was paid for.
