On 5/27, Mr [redacted] ordered a driver side rocker panelOn 6/1, he contacted us to report that he received a passenger side rocker panelHe chose to keep the part, but asked that we refund his shipping, which we did on 6/2.He ordered another driver side rocker panel later that day and contacted us asking that we ensure the correct part is shippedOne of our representatives contacted our warehouse to request that the part be checked prior to shipment.On 6/6, he went to our Order Status & Returns page to report that he received the wrong part againWe provided a prepaid FedEx return shipping label, which he used to return the part for a full refund (issued 6/14)We sell other rocker panels for his vehicle, which he is welcome to purchase

The options the customer has outlined are the available replacement options under the manufacturer's warrantyWe sympathize with the customer's financial situation, but as a business we are unable to send out a new radiator without payment for itWe require either a return in transit to us or a new order placed through the website if he chooses to proceed with either warranty replacement option

On 3/16, Ms [redacted] contacted us to report that she received the wrong partWe offered to have her return it for a free replacement of the correct part using a prepaid FedEx shipping label (one we could mail her)She refused our offer and hung up on our representativeWe have not heard from her since.We have since determined that the part the customer ordered will not fit her Honda Accord LXThough we did not ship her the part she ordered, it would not fit her vehicle even if we hadConsequently, we have emailed her and mailed her a prepaid FedEx return shipping label to return the part for a full refundShe will receive her refund within business days of us receiving the partWe sell other mufflers which fit Ms***'s vehicle, which she may purchase

After I had my ASE Certified mechanic look at this site and the information provided, he wouldn't have known to find the manufacture date eitherSo, how in the world is this my fault? I don't care where they have fine print buried beyond this pointWhat I attached, is what they are marketing for a replacement for my F-Diesel truck, but with no returns, no credits, no warranties, nothing whatsoever! Our part listings specify that that there are two front mufflers available for his vehicle, and that one of them is an optional mufflerThis customer purchased both mufflers for vehicle, but only needed oneAs our Help page explains (http://www.rockauto.com/lang/en/answersTab4.html#Returns), every part we sell may be returned within days for a refund of the part priceShipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our mistakeThe customer set up a return for the extra mufflerOur online return prompts asked if he preferred his refund to his original form of payment or in the form of store creditHe chose store credit on 3/28/15, so that's how his refund was issued on 4/3/when the return was receivedSince we shipped the part the customer ordered, no shipping was refunded A month after his refund was issued (5/6/15) he asked to change the refund from the store credit he chose to his original payment method, and we explained we were unable to make this change once the refund had been issued (especially after this much time has passed)He requested the same thing two months later in July, and we again explained the refund type he chose in March can not be reversed months after he voluntarily chose to receive his refund in the form of store creditWe have refunded the customer for his unwanted item in the form of credit he selected; no further or change of refund will be issued

MrF [redacted] ordered a brake rotor and pad kit listed as "Rear" in our online catalogThe order was placed March 21, and when he called in May, he informed us that he accidentally ordered a rear kit instead of the front kit he neededAt this time, his order was three weeks outside of our 30-day return policy but we agreed to a one-time exception and sent return instructions to his emailWhen MrF [redacted] called on Sunday 9/18, he requested to speak to a supervisorDue to limited weekend staffing, there was not a supervisor availableOur customer service representatives offered to have a supervisor call him back, but MrF [redacted] hung up on both representatives before they could confirm his contact informationWe accept returns within days, as our Help page explains (http://www.rockauto.com/help/?page=4#Returns )Since the order was shipped days ago, we will not accept a return

This customer presents no new information in his rejection and our original message responded to all the same pointsMr [redacted] purchased an A-Cardone Master Cylinder on December 5, He contacted us years later on December 9, stating that it had failedOur Warranties page explains that, like other retailers of branded products, RockAuto honors the warranty provided by the manufacturer of the productWarranties offer only replacement of the defective part with another part: no cash refunds, shipping costs or other expensesA-Cardone warrants their parts for years, so we offered options to receive a replacementMr [redacted] chose to order a new part so he could get it installed right away, then return the faulty part and be reimbursed for the replacement orderHe ordered the replacement Master Cylinder on December 20, but did not return the faulty partThe next time he contacted us, over a year later on January 17, 2016, the year warranty from had already expired and we explained that we were not able to assist further with the warranty claim.Mr [redacted] then requested to return the "unused" replacement for a refundWe are confused how it could be unused, since he told us in December that he needed a working replacement right away because the original part brokeHowever, we accept returns within days, as our Help page explainsSince the order is now over days past our return window, we will not accept a return for his December order

On 5/25/5:18pm CST, Mr [redacted] placed an order and chose DHL Domestic Express shippingHis shopping cart and checkout page showed "You should receive by Tuesday, May 30"We shipped his part the following dayDHL attempted delivery on Tuesday, May 30, but report that the recipient was not homeThey delivered the part the following day.We are sorry Mr [redacted] did not get his part when he hopedBut since we shipped his part on time and delivery was attempted on the expected delivery date, we cannot refund his shippingIf he does not want the part he received, he may arrange a return on our Order Status & Returns pageIf he does not prefer DHL for future shipments, we offer other express shipping methods for most parts

Mr [redacted] purchased Anchor 8300, which is listed as a transmission mount for a Honda Civic (our catalog makes no reference to being for the front or right, nor does Anchor's)Our catalog also showed him a picture of the part so he could verify it was what he neededWe verified with Anchor that the part is correctly listed as a transmission mount for his vehicle.We don't know why Mr [redacted] thinks he needed a transmission mountThe part he claims is the part he needed is listed as a front motor mount by all reputable after-market mount manufacturersWe refunded him for the part he returned on 9/We offer no further refunds

We are sorry to hear of Ms [redacted] ’s misfortuneWe do not save credit card information, so we are not able to make charges to a credit card without customer authorization on a new orderWe only have one order between October and December with Ms [redacted] ’s information, and it does not have a core chargeI have attached the Order Confirmation (35056479) for referenceMs [redacted] provided us with a list of charges and their dates (also attached), but we were unable to find any corresponding records in our systemMs [redacted] ’s bank statement would reflect “RockAuto, LLC” for any charges authorized by our companyShe does not have those statements, so we don’t know why she thinks we made these chargesThere is nothing more we can do to assist without additional information

On 10/9, Mr [redacted] requested that all but of the parts he ordered earlier that day be canceledOn 10/10, we confirmed his request via email, noting that his PayPal refund could take up to two business days to process.Later that day, he filed a dispute with PayPalAs soon as he ends his dispute, PayPal will allow us to issue the refund we promised more than a month ago

Ms [redacted] initially addressed her order to a place that does not exist, which explains why she did not receive her partsFedEx did not return the parts to one of our warehousesIf we do receive the parts, we will refund herWe do not know to which waiver her complaint refersIf Ms [redacted] negotiated a solution with FedEx and needs our help, she may contact us to explain what she needs from us

We are sorry for any confusionNissan originally used different manufacturers for the starters on their vehicles, including MitsubishiMr [redacted] purchased TYC part #117685, listed to replace starters where the OE Manufacturer was MitsubishiHe received the part he purchasedIf he is not satisfied with the country of origin, he is welcome to return the part and we have provided return instructions to do soAs our Help page explains, every part we sell may be returned within days for a refund of the part price, but shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our mistake
