For several years I have been marked by Davenport University for unusual enrollment I have just recently been accepted into the graduate program there, but they say I can attend but I can not receive financial aid until AugustThey state the reason being that the Department of Education has me marked as unusual enrollmentI contacted them and they state that there is nothing holding me back and that Davenport should release my funds that I'm available for

I am being charged for classes that I never attended back in 2011, I dropped the classes with my academic advisor in person She never did it I attended Davenport in the Winter of 2011, I took classes at the [redacted] campus When I decided to attend Davenport to get my Nursing Degree, was told that I would qualify for financial aid, they then gave me a card to put all of my books and supplies on until my aid came in, which never happened and then owed them close to $for the classes I finished the semester and set up payment arrangements to pay off the classes They had me sign up for spring/summer classes and once again apply for aid I was told once again I did not qualify for aid, so I went to my advisor and dropped the classes for summer because I could not afford to pay out of pocket $for classes and I still owed on the previous semester I was told by her that the classes were dropped and I never went back to Davenport It wasn't until the las

Do not attend this school, they are by far one of the worst places to receive a higher education from
They claim and advertise to be for the working person and for veterans, farthest thing from the truth They scold you for working, and for being part of the military and do not follow the law when it comes to providing adequate time to those in the reserves to complete assignments
They have a high turn over rate of professors, in addition to those that are there are too busy obtaining their own higher education to really give the students the guidance and direction needed to succeed
Their billing practices are sketchy, and hard to follow The advisors are uninvolved and incompetent, failed to fill out scholarship paper properly costing me money
They allow students to bully other students, allow cheating students (faculty is aware and caught the student who than signed a paper acknowledging the cheating) to still pass and advance in the nursing program

School offers a "20% military student discount" on tuition, but shorts the discount
Tuition for three graduate credit hours is $2187, thus the discount should be $ The discount given is If they are shorting all military students $2.40, this adds up rapidly, and is advertising Addressed this with Deb B***, who said "this is the way we have always done this" and that the university does not intend to correct the advertisement or the discount
