*** 2017 RE: IN, *** *** Thank you for getting back to me the other day regarding this issueI will attempt to go through my encounters with *** All the best I can in this letter and address the issues she has brought up. My first meeting with *** was on Tuesday,
January 17, She was referred to me by another salonIn my consultation, *** had told me that she was interested in getting *** *** extensions, She very much desired *** *** extensions specifically, because she had had many different kinds of extensions in the past, and had the best experience with *** ***. We agreed on length, color, maintenance requirements as well as cost of the extensions, all of which was specifically outlined and agreed to by ***(Enclosed are copies of both the deposit agreement as well as the Home Maintenance agreement that *** signed.) I gave her the hard copies, an kept a digital copy for myselfAn appointment for the extensions to be applied, as well as a non-refundable deposit of $was givenThe total cost of the service was to be $1600, but as this was her first appointment with me, I discounted the price by $The total cost to *** was $She gave me $to book the appointment and the balance of $was due the day of the appointment. ***'s appointment was the following Tuesday, January at 10am, to which she was an hour lateWe then again reviewed what we were going to do as far as the final lookapplied the extensions, shaped her natural hair to blend in, and finished the service*** paid me the remaining $We went over the Home Maintenance sheet again, which *** signed, and kept the hard copy as I kept a digital one for myself* was very happy when she leftI advised her to call me with any questions, and once again, she was very satisfied. The next time I saw *** was on February, She had called a few days prior and said a couple of extensions had come outI asked what happened and she stated that when she was drying her hair they just slid outI was a little confused, never having that happen before, but I asked her to come in and bring the extensions with her. When she came in, I could see where some extensions were missing*** gave me the pieces that she said slid outI looked at them, and a few of them were not the extensions had put in her hairI'm not sure where they had come from, but the bonds on the ends were not *** *** bondsSeeing as *** was a new client, and l wanted to keep her happy, I simply didn't say anything, I added new extensions (at my expense) to the areas where the old ones had come out and, once again, *** left happyI say at my expense, because once the bonds of the *** *** extensions are attached, they are unable to be reusedThere would be no way to reattach the extensions a second time had to use hair from my own stock to rectify this situation. Seeing as these extensions cannot be reused, I disposed of them. My final encounter with *** was on March She had called again a few days prior to that and told me that nearly all of the extensions had slid out out her hair Those were her words "slid out of my hair'Again, I was very confused and had her come in on that Saturday. When *** armed, her hair was up in a clipOnce she took her hair down, there were probably random extensions still attached to her hairYou can imagine my surpriseI had put over extensions in her hair and only a fraction of them were leftI told her I obviously did not have time to reattach extensions, so I offered to either remove the few that were left, or simply cut them to match the rest of her hairShe asked me to cut them, which I didI then shampooed, blew out, and styled ***'s hair at no charge, as I felt bad about what had happenedShe had brought me a bag of the extensions which I told her I would call *** *** to see what the issue wasPerhaps it was bad hair, ***be the bonds weren't sealed correctly, and I had no idea, *** was fine with that.I contacted *** *** and told them what had happenedI also told them about how most of the extensions didn't even look like *** *** hairI was told to forward them to Quality Control and they would look at them and see what was going on. I texted back and forth with *** about what was going on, to keep her informedShe asked for her extensions backOut of curiosity, I asked what she wanted them back forHer response was $I told her I didn't know what that meant, but I would ask for them to be returned. On March 2017, received a phone call from *** *** at *** ***, She told me that the extensions had been cut out of the hairThe application was fine, there was no defect in the hair, and the majority of the hair was NOT *** *** hairI asked her to email me the findings so could forward the information on to ***That email is attached as well as the email I composed to ***, essentially firing her as a client, have been in this industry for years, performing extension services for over years, and I am sorry, but I'm not willing to service a client who will lie to me or not follow instructions on how to care for their investment. *** claims to have contacted *** *** herself, claimed that I lied and made up this email and the person it was fromI have since blocked her number from my phone as well as my online booking account. in her complaint to you, she stated she brought me $worth of hair to put in her hairFirst of all, I would never, absolutely NEVER put extensions in somebody's hair that they brought to meI work with *** *** exclusively, so I don't know where this information is coming from. The purchase price of her service was $No more, no lessYou can see that in her signed agreement. I am waiting for *** *** to send back the extensions she brought back to meI will gladly give them back, as there is nothing I or anybody else can do with them, I also received an email from ***'s daughter stating that I have $worth of her extensions that they want returnedAgain, no idea where these figures are coming fromThey have threatened to call the police on me for theftI have all the documents that she signed and agreed to, as well as the letter from *** *** stating she cut these extensions out of her hair and my service was done as it should have been.Hopefully, the enclosed documents will help you understand where we areIf you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me. Thank you for your Time Paul O***
