Nature's Plan Reviews (1)

We had used Nature’s Plan in the past for andscaping. We went through everything that needed to be done in detail. The detail does not get transcribed onto the contract and therefore is left to interpretation.

The biggest complaint, the owner urinated in our yard between the front gate and fence. No apology. If we did not need him to re-do work that was done wrong, he would have been asked to leave the property permanently. This is not a case of a worker working 5 or 8 hours with no access. The owner was gone for an hour and had just come back.

The next issue, we needed all the drip lines checked and improved as needed. Per the contract “check drip system modify & improve”. Half the drip lines were not even checked, checking meant if the plants were green and the worker could reach under the plant, it was working. When we questioned how improvements were being made, we were told that we needed to tell the owner specifically what if anything needed done to each drip line. If we needed to do that, we would have check the lines ourselves and saved $380. There is at least one shrub that we can’t even find the emitter, most likely this is only one of several because how the shrubs are growing. Obviously, the lines were not checked.

Lastly, we needed to have a high rise planter redone. The ground had sunk and needed to be supplemented with dirt and kept as a “riverbed” with rock and bark. When done it was completed covered in rock, no bark. This needed to be redone, when the worker removed the rock, there was nothing but mud. The attitude was that we were over watering. A week after the work was completed we replaced some plants and there was still two inches of mud (what looked like just poured concrete). Two inches further down the original soil was fine. In addition, a similar flower bed that Nature’s Plan did not work on and is watered the same, was not in mud. I also need to add that this was all before the rainfall. We are now faced with having to remove and replace a “cement” dirt bed.

On a Wednesday the owner wanted his final payment with the comment he would be back on Monday to finish the job. We did not pay the final payment and after multiple phone calls on Monday as to where he and his crew were, he called back and stated he would be there on Tuesday.

These are just the big issues, and to let the buyer beware.
