Natures Way Rainbow Reviews (4)

Review: The contract that my husband and I entered into needs to be cancelled. This business is unethical and very unprofessional. The owner of the company pays in cash, says one thing and then does another, and also does not keep correct documentation like a business should. If you come across Nature's Way in Roseville, CA, run in the other direction.

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

For me and my husband's contract to be cancelled with Nature's Way.

Response:

Initial Business Response

[redacted] is an independent contractor who sold the product to her husband [redacted]. [redacted] had three days by law to cancel the contract. No notice was given to us within the three day right of rescission.

[redacted] was an independent contractor and signed an independent contractor agreement as an independent contractor. Nature's Way can pay her in cash, nothing is wrong with this.

To this date, we have not received the $136.00 down payment per the contract that was sold to her husband but have paid [redacted] all monies due her.

The customer Darnell [redacted] as of this day has not requested to cancell his contract and still has not paid the down payment of $136.00

The contract is dated August 5th, 2013. The customer had until August 8th, 2013 to cancel and has not done so.

We request that all record of this complaint be removed from any record, we acted in accordance to all laws.

Final Consumer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

The seller's name on the contract clearly states [redacted], the Distributor at Nature's Way.

Also, they have not paid all the money that is due to me and I am not the only person they owe. My husband and me owe this company absolutely nothing. On top of that, the Distributor has repeatedly showed up to my house without any notice and that's after I told him I was not not home.

I am still requesting for the contract to be cancelled.

Business Response

The complaint has no merit on several points the first being... the contract is in [redacted] name only, not [redacted]. [redacted] was given three days ( by law ) to cancel... the contract was verified with him thru the finance company PCI ( XXX XXX XXXX ). When they verified the contract verbally with him there is a series of questions that they go thru. Ranging from... being happy with the purchase to understanding the contract and the monthly payments, did they receive the merchandise, etc. afterwards Darnell gave them his checking account info for payments to be withdrawn from... this is recorded by the finance company.

[redacted] was an independent contractor who was refusing to return the 4000.00 worth of demo equipment checked out to her... the only visits to her home were to collect the companies equipment.

Review: Promised incentives were not delivered. And do not believe incentives will be delivered.

Salesmen came over for demonstration, after seeing the project, loved it. Salesmen asked for leads on new potential buyers, and in which, if a potential buyer to buy, I would get $200 if the buyer signed contract to purchase and that I needed to be at the demonstartion.

I was at the demonstration, and potential buyer did purchase. A month later, no incentive has been given. Even after dealing with salemen's surervisor, [redacted] Desired Settlement: for the $200 incentive

Review: Salesmen and company owner did not follow through with promises made. Owner refuses to meet with me to support the promises made by his salesmen.

I was told that if I had two friends or family set up two in home demonstrations with them, I would receive a free Rainmate (small purifier). Also, if a Rainbow vacuum was sold at a demonstration with myself present, I would receive $200.00. A family member did purchase a Rainbow vacuum at a presentation that I was present for, however, attempts to reach a salesman to collect have been with negative results. I contacted the owner, who stated that although the salesmen was not allowed to offer that agreement, he would uphold the offer. An appointment was made with the owner, however, the owner now refuses to meet with me after three appointments made. The owner continually states that he doesn't have the money nor the Rainmate and attempts to reschedule. The following dates are: 10-10-13 (was rescheduled), 10-15-13 (was rescheduled), 10-10-16-13 (was rescheduled), 10-18-13. On this date I was just told no.Desired Settlement: I would simply like to receive the Rainmate, as well as the $200.00 that was promised.

Review: I was shown the Rainbow vacuum in July of 2013. I was very concerned about the high cost of the Rainbow because I was going to Argentina for two weeks in August 2013. [redacted] said he would make the first two payments for me and I would not owe anything until January of 2014. I really liked the machine so I reluctantly bought it. A few days later [redacted] came by my house because the date on the credit card application was wrong and needed to be changed. I voiced by concerns once again about not being able to afford the Rainbow and tried to back out of the deal. [redacted] convinced me that he would give me demonstrations to work off the Rainbow and not have to pay a thing. Once again I was conned into moving forward. I ended up getting billed right after I purchased the Rainbow when our contract stated that it was not supposed to start until January. [redacted] said this wasn't a problem and he would write me a check for the two payments. I have asked him at least 3-4 times about the check via text message and never got a response. I drove out to Roseville from my home in Sacramento 3+ times to pick up the check and each time got a different reason why he could not give it to me. On January 4th he claimed he would have it by Monday. On March 7th he claimed he was busy with a funeral and to come get it Thursday. I was conned into buying the machine, [redacted] did not live up to his word about sending me on demonstrations to work off the Rainbow, and has not giving me a reimbursement check that our contract stipulates.Working in the restaurant and real estate industry for many years I am very well acquainted with customer service. This has been by far the worse customer service I have ever experienced. They are conducting many unethical practices and I would never do any business with this organization ever again.Desired Settlement: Complete refund of product and money spent.$200 (for the 10 demonstrations that I have done)$40 (gas and time for driving back and forth trying to get the refund check)$186.80 (my first two months payments that are owed to me via our contract)$2,688.26 (cost of the rainbow)
