Review: I received an advertising flyer from Naturwood quoting a price of 2379 for a Durango Stickley recliner. I purchased the chair and was told it would arrive in 8-10 weeks. The next day I was called and told the they could not honor the price because it was the wrong leather. I had already placed a down payment and had a purchase slip. I went back to the store and they told me that I must pay another $1000. for the chair in that leather or choose a lower grade leather. I could have told them to honor the original price but I thought they would hassle me further and give me a substandard product. Therefore I took my money back because I did not wish to deal with this sleezy business. Not only did they publish a deceptive advertising price but they then they did not honor a completed sale.

DISCUSSED WITH CUSTOMER TODAY. EXPLAINED STEICKLEY MAILER WAS CONFUSING HOWEVER WE WOULD HONOR THE PRICE FOR THE UPGRADED LEATHER. MR [redacted] STATED HE DID NOT NEED THE MERCHANDISE ANY LONGER BUT WILL REMAIN A SATISFIED NATURWOOD CUSTOMER. Consumer's Final Response
Naturwood Home Furnishings called me today about complaint ID #XXXXXXXX. I talked with [redacted] who was very pleasant and stated that Naturwood was very sorry that the incident occurred. Mr [redacted] stated that Naturwood would be glad to honor the original price for the Stickley chair. I told him that I thought it was very upstanding of him to call, to offer to sell for the original price, and to admit there had been a confusion in their advertising flyer. I also told him that we no longer needed the chair since we purchased a similar chair from s Stickley dealer in Reno, NV.
I was quite impressed that Naturwood took full responsibility for the error and I am completely satisfied with the response. I have always liked Naturwood in the past, and I am glad we have arrived at a successful conclusion.
