Sorry, I was out in the field today and R [redacted] had to go to UCLA medical and was out I am writing this to attempt to clarify and preserve our working relationshipAfter our conversation last Monday, it was going downhillI just got your message this morning and hadn’t heard from you since Monday 10/31/when we talked When IU returned your call from Sunday morning returning my call of Thursday when I was on your boat to check it out after a rain and see if the silicon treatment was working and clean it up I couldn't find any moisture in the fly bridge and needed to know if you had dried it out, but I guess you were out of town The only moisture I could find was what was coming from the back window (which I could remedy for youYour comments were not called for and became on the abusive side and I am seeking to relieve some of your distressThe only problem I knew of upon completion of you enclosure in June of was a tight fastener on the stern door and we were waiting to see if it would relax and work for youFrom June I was not apprised of a water issue or any other displeasure R [redacted] and I have checked back on our phone logs and could not find any evidence of a call from you The first I knew of the water issue was when your neighbor, Bruce, asked me to measure his boat for an enclosure like yours in September and that was the only comment he had made If I had known about the issue I certainly would have remedied the problemAs we discussed at the onset, this is an artistic craft and I explained how I was going to do the job As far as opinions of other fabricators, both in pricing and workmanship, I suggest this is borderline, if not real slander, and they could be held accountable for this actionI would invite the opportunity to correct your issues and get back on track, but am not in agreement to refund your $8,investment Thank you, C [redacted]
