I am contacting you in regards to a complaint filed against our business.The customer gave her sister [redacted] [redacted] permission to bring in the unit in on Jan 7, 2015.A contract was signed at the time of service, and the customer was contacted and made aware that a Factory reset service...
was needed to remove the malicious malware and viruses.The unit in question was a [redacted] running [redacted]The original media from the factory was reinstalled via recovery partition, and any upgrades or purchases, would need to be reinstalled and activated by the owner.The customer was made aware, that she would be responsible for any programming other than the pre installed software on her unit. All units are required to sign, date, and agree to contract terms before any work can be done.I am sorry that over a year later, we are now being contacted about this matter. I have the appropriate documents, signed and dated.If you need a copy of the contract, please feel free to contact me. Thank you[redacted]Here is a copy of the sign in sheet scan 1 and the verbal conversation with [redacted]We cannot install paid programs without ( [redacted] ) certificate of authenticity from [redacted].If she purchased the office 2007, she would have the [redacted] , or digital download key.The [redacted] programming comes with a 60 day trial [redacted] and must be purchased before the trial ends.If the system was upgraded to [redacted] she would have the [redacted] for that upgrade.The ORIGINAL programming was installed and pictures were saved on DVD.
