Nawas Booked travel to Israel for our Church for the 9th -18th of November 2023. The war started, and they have refused to cancel the the Trip and claim it is postponed. Each of the 40 Plus people are told take another trip within a year of lose your money. Each of us is being held hostage for the $4000.00 we paid. The company is refusing to issue refunds. Their Lawyer has stated see the web site for terms and conditions. no one booked on the website.

We booked a group tour to Israel for November and as we all know the war broke out. Nawas has refused to refund our monies, claiming the trip is posponed instead of cancelled to keep everyones monies, while promising another trip which must be taken within a year elsewhere, DO NOT book with these people, Book with Peters Way as they have Returned everyones money. USA Today has stated that this firm is run as a ponzie scheam using todays money to book yesterdays trips!

What an experience I had , with Contessa Eleanore as as our guide. She arranged everything to meet our needs and to keep us on time and making this experience packed with new love of art and history. I just want to thank her and let you know what an asset you have in your company with with Eleanor I would travel with her anytime, if I could only afford it, I’ll be looking for her next trip and trying to save to make the date. Thank you Eleanor for a exceptional lifetime experience, and traveling to Italy. Can’t wait to meet you again.. my travel dates were November 7, 2022 through November 17, 2020 to 5 star experience!

Booked a trip to Oberammergau and our departure flight from Syracuse to JFK was cancelled . They booked us on Delta knowing that they were cancelling 20 % of their flights. An agent said if you cancel we keep 100% of your trip payment or $5000 . No connecting flights to JFK that day. Did not offer to assist us in getting another flight.
Find your own way to JFK which we did by renting two transport vans. They could care less . Agent response to me was we are not responsible for airline delays.
Also agent was very rude and condescending when I told her that The Czech Republic only requires three months expiration of a US passport , not six months as she advised me. She didn't acknowledge her mistake but snapped at me when I corrected her.
NAWAS is NO was. Don't us them ever if you care about your money.

Half of tour group caught Covid-19 on trip to Ireland due to being booked on a United plane that should only fly to Florida. Asked for a refund on upcoming trip to Germany for fear of Covid-19 but the money hungry NAWAS denied it

Nawas International Travel is by far the best pilgrimage travel company out there. I have travelled on many tours with Nawas, the most recent one visiting Italy. I enjoyed all of their services thoroughly and especially the daily Masses that they provided. I also researched around a lot and for the quality, Nawas has the best prices.

DO NOT book a trip with this company! They are keeping $1150 of my money! Stating they are postponing my trip! I am elderly and do not want them to hold my money for 2 years! They state they are a Christian company- this is not the way I believe a Christian should operate. Sadly they are stealing from the elderly.

NAWAS doesn't deserve the one star above - should be zero. They are a disgrace to all Christians since they claim to be a Christian Travel Agency - really Nawas. Look at the money you are collecting from all these travelers, times it by $1150) that were going to see the Passion Play, a Holy Pilgrimage of Our Lord. Do you think He's smiling down on you - think again!

I was booked on a Oberammergau trip, May 2020 through NAWAS. Due to the pandemic canceling the trip they are offering one of three options. #1. Travel in Nov. 2020 w/o going to Oberammergau. #2. Traveling in 2022 for rescheduled Oberammergau, they will keep all funds for those two years - approx. $4,000 and if at that time you do not go, they keep all monies. #3. Refund of monies, LESS $1,150. It is criminal for a company to keep more than 20% of the cost of the trip to the traveler. Options offered are in favor of NAWAS, it is a loose, loose situation for the traveler. Seems the company does not understand good will/customer service. They bill themselves as a Christian travel company - they are not practicing what they preach.
