If the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Tim G*** owner of collision crafters and I never had this conversation about anything he said in his response to the BBB. Tim made it all up. Tim said that is the best I could with the materials and paint I had. By Tim G [redacted] response he admitted to doing bad work on the 1964 Chevrolet corvette parts. all I am asking for is $ 953.70 to repair and repaint some of the loose parts. I not having the 4 bumpers repainted. because I can tell the people that Tim G [redacted] at collision crafters painted the bumpers. to show how bad the paint is on the bumpers looks. the bumpers are made out of metal. Tim bought the wrong paint color !!!

Mr*** wanted an inexpensive daily driver paint job on this vehicle and did all the sanding and stripped the body and parts with an inferior chemical stripper purchased at local store, the approved procedure is soda or media, this vehicle is fiber glass and the jel coat and fibers were damaged
due to stripper sitting to long and penetrating substrateMr*** was advised that it would take much more preparation with additional materials to produce a nice finish and that in the condition the vehicle was in an inexpensive paint job would show imperfections in the finish, especially in silverMr*** refused additional preparation due to costWe proceeded to seal prime parts and paint a number of parts and had Mr*** look at them and he approved of them and took them homeThe body was in need of alot more attention due to the strands of fiber glass were exposed, we advised him it would take additional preparation and consumer refused due to cost and wanted us to just do what we could with it,, we advised him that due to damage to fiber glass, without the additional procedures and cost it was not possible to refinish the body properly and would encounter problems later with the end product. Mr*** and his wife became angry and started to complain not only to us but the to rep for *** paint also, so in good will and to resolve the whole situation the shop and *** offered to replace all materials and paint and rework with the top of the line products which they refused, consumer wanted the amount of the top of line paint and materials back in cash which they paid for the inexpensive paint products.The time, labor and materials that was used on this job over exceeds the amount that the consumer has paid and requested to take the remainder of materials which he did receive back with vehicle, in closing consumer expected to receive a top of the line refinish job at an inexpensive price, we did everything humanly possible to accommadate the consumer
