My name is John Naylor I was the roofing and siding contractor for [redacted] job last year [redacted] claims that I broke her AC box accidentally, but we did do a walk around and she actually had me come back out a couple more times to use my magnets with nailsHe was very concerned about that because she had a landscaper that cut her grass and she did not want a nail to do any damage if the lawn mower hit a nailSo it's hard telling how that box broke Lawnmower could've hit it with his handle it could've just rust in time When she called me I was in Florida and I thought since the AC guy was out there servicing this thing and he said he had the box which was like a $part I thought out of the goodness of my heart if it wasn't very expensive I would just not deal with the headache and hassle and pay for it [redacted] was very detailed person, I think that was her job for her career, she even require all kinds of warranty papers before I got my final check so I felt comfortable with her following up with this heating and air-conditioning guy but since I said I paid for I don't think she care the costThose boxes are heavy duty and that is not something that is ever broke on any job that I've been in business for siding I feel we do not break that box and I feel that this is not part of my warranty I was not able to see the damage box I called [redacted] and they said they don't keep the damage boxes so therefore I feel I'm being mistreated here and trying to be railroaded into paying $for something that I did not break and is not under my warranty John Naylor###-###-#### Since I'm a honest businessman and if [redacted] want to split the cost of that box because nobody for certain can say who did the damage I am out of the goodness of my heart willing to pay $

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. I do not wish to spend any more of my time on this matter for $105.50.On Arpil 1st he told me he would pay the entire amount. He never sent a check. Now it is June 11th and he is saying he will pay half of the amount. Again, he may never send a check.This is the first time I have heard that he feels he did not break the box. No one has been here to cut the lawn after he did the work in the fall. The damage was found on 4-1-and my first cut of this season was 4-13-15. It can not be blamed on the mowers.The heating and cooling company is honest and they charge the same price for everyone for a broken box. They charge less than another company I called just to compare prices. The company is not trying to "railroad" him. I viewed the box and it was not rusty. The person doing the siding had to get behind the box to replace the siding and he broke it. He guaranteed years on labor on the written contract, several times verbally and in emails sent to me. Now he is saying his guarantee does not cover this. This is the first time I heard of this one also. A person doing the labor damaged my property. When I called him on 4-1-and told him what happened he never said anything about his warranty not covering this. And he never said anything that he felt he did not break the box.Anyway I will accept half because I do not think it is worth pursuing this matter any further. I am just happy that the damage that was done was not even more costly. My concern now is that he is just saying he will send a check but will never send it. I am requesting that he send the check as soon as possible but no later than the end of the month
