Naylor's Kitchen, Bath and Interiors, Inc. Reviews (2)

Naylor's installed a complete bathroom in the property in the Spring of 2010 (completed roughly around June of 2010) and 3 months later they were notified of a leak with the shower unit. It took the previous owners over 4.5 months to have someone come out to fix the leak. Unfortunately the leak was never been repaired properly and the shower unit has been causing water damage for almost 4 years now. I purchased the property 2 years ago and have been contacting [redacted]'s regarding the leak for over 8 months. We had their installer out to fix the leak and he advised us that the door was not installed correctly and that any repair he attempted would not be guaranteed. The store manager told us that we would need to purchase a new door because the original $1800.00 door wan no longer manufactured due to complaints. We were assured that the new door would NEVER leak. The new door was finally installed in [redacted] and is now leaking more than ever. The original caulking washed away after the very first shower and had to be redone. When it was done over they did not use caulking that matched the rest of the shower. I have pointed out that there is an area within the shower that appears to be the cause of the leaks, but they are not acknowledging me concerns. I had the owner ([redacted]) come out to the house to look at the shower and view the pictures and videos I have of the problem and I was assured they would replace the corroded shower head/hand held unit and that everything would be taken care of. After waiting several weeks we were advised that they were only willing to have the installer add more caulking. The mold and water damaged caused by the leak has now traveled to below the floor tiles, in the walls and to the surrounding molding. We feel as though these concerns have never been addressed and that [redacted]'s is not standing by their product or service. I have tried to set up an apt with [redacted]'s, the previous owners and have not received any response to my request. No resolution!Product_Or_Service: Shower unit, hardware and doorAccount_Number: [redacted] & [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like to see the entire shower unit removed and replaced with a wall and door assembly that is leak free. The unit should be of the same value/quality of the original purchase and the work should be guaranteed. All damaged areas and mold removed and repaired and for the floor to be replaced. All expenses should be covered by Naylor's and I would like to hire my own crew to do the work. All hardware associated with the shower should be replaced. (shower head/hand held unit)4yrs of leaksBusiness Response To Whom It May Concern:Complaint # 237955This Bathroom was done in [redacted] The Original customer did two baths and a kitchen with Naylor's Kitchen and Bath. The job went very smoothly in all aspects. Original Client called a few months later and said the shower was leaking. I had someone over there the next day to look at it. The gasket around door was cracked. I ordered another one and had it replaced promptly. That was the last I heard from original client. He also had referred multiple friends of his since to [redacted]'s Kitchen and Bath to do their kitchen or baths. Early this year in [redacted] two years after the original complaint in 2010, Ms. [redacted] contacted us regarding the leak that she attempted to fix on her own but did not have any success. The door being almost five years old is no longer under warranty through the manufacturer or through Naylor's, including the labor warranty which has also expired. I, [redacted] offered to have someone look at the shower at no charge to Ms. [redacted]. She proceeded to tell that she wanted a new shower door because she doesn't like that door because of the issues she had. She went ahead and ordered a new door and it was installed by Naylor's Kitchen and Bath. Unfortunately the rubber gasket was missing. I ordered another one to be expedited. Our contractor did not tell her at any time that the original door was installed incorrectly. Once the rubber gasket came in I had tried to call her with no answer. I had my contractor go to her house to replace gasket and she informed him that she was going to do it herself. Keep in mind I haven't received any payment for the material or labor. After several attempts of calling her trying to resolve the issue and no answer back, I had [redacted] contact her to go and check it out. After looking at the shower leak, [redacted] left a message for Ms. [redacted] that the contractor will come by to add silicone properly to insure no leakage. He did not inform her that Naylor's would replace the corroded shower head/hand held unit. [redacted] as well as the contractor did not note any damage to the tile floor, walls or surrounding molding. Ms. [redacted] never called us back to schedule time for the contractor to fix. I tried to call multiple times without any returned phone calls. She had left a message threatening us that will go to the Revdex.com and defame our reputation through friends and colleagues, I than tried to contact her again and with no response. I am not sure were the base of her complaint is.[redacted]'s Kitchen and Bath tried to resolve the problem well beyond our warranty. No Answer. No resolution and NO PAYMENT.Thanks [redacted].
