I hired NBT after a first remodel to a bathroom was left a disaster with an unlevel new tub and unlevel new flooring NBT was the second and last remodelers to work on this bathroom (not the third) NBT promised they would correct these problems Upon finishing the project and after I had paid in full, I noticed the tub faucet was leaking due to the caulking having come apart forcing the faucet out of the wall I called and they fixed the problem I also pointed out that the new tiles surrounding the feet around the tub were shabbily installed by NBT They inspected them and said I was right and that they had fired the man who installed them because "he didn't know what he was doing I didn't have the entire surround of the tub retired because they were going to charge me an extra $and I didn't have the money Also, I did not use a Brillo pad on the new tiles, being an intelligent woman I would never do that The first shower I took (not my grandson) I discovered water leaking from the tun just as before NBT reset the tub - the tub was still unlevel and leaked no matter how secure a shower curtain was I called NBT (***) and he came over with a plumber they had just hired Upon inspection of the tun, both the plumber and [redacted] agreed it was still unlevel and leaking [redacted] was upset and said to me with the plumber present, "I bet you could kill me." After much consulting back and forth as to the best way to fix the problems, I felt the project should be done as promised and as paid for I had also told them from the beginning I didn't want a shower door The plumber came to my home with the intention of tearing out the tub and releveling and replacing tiles so we decided to both reconsider what to do that would be least destructive He said he would make this right and call me the following week He even gave me a hug and said not to worry I have never heard from him or the company since that day My calls were unanswered and not returned They admitted their mistakes but did not correct them I have attached pictures showing the tub still leaks, the leak has gone through to the ceiling below, the bad tiles, caulking coming apart and mold coming through around the tub and down the edge of the tub where it is leaking I want a splash guard installed and new tiles installed or I want my $returned I will style for nothing less I am years old and recently retired from [redacted] law firm after years I have no doubt that the partners I worked with would gladly verify my credibility I have never filed a complaint before in my life I put a lot of trust in [redacted] and am disappointed - he was always very kind to me Also I might mention to MrS [redacted] that my name is not " [redacted] " but [redacted]

We at NBT are shocked by these statements, our company has and always will provide excellent customer service We are the third contractor this woman hired to fix her bathroom From the first meeting she refused our suggestions (replace all tile in surround not just ones that were ripped out by previous contractor that pulled tub and never came back as well as replace old tub because the deck wasn't flat) She wanted a simple repair done to surround and didn't want to wait for matching tile that would have to be ordered Her concern was getting bathroom functional for her grandson approxyrs old that had been sharing her bathroom. After job was finished she paid in full and was happy with job weeks later she called about problem with grout she had scuffed and discolored white grout with a brillo pad, we gladly came out next day and repaired marks Around months later she called saying the drain was leaking we came out and inspected and there was no leak It was then I noticed she had a short cloth shower curtain that was allowing water to escape while the before mentioned child was using shower Mrs [redacted] got mad saying the curtain was expensive and blamed our workmanship I returned next day with a plumber who looked at the tub and determined it was less than 1/16th of an inch from persect and needed a curtain that stopped water not absorbed water Mrs [redacted] called next day yelling me that plumber said it was my fault that never happened in an attempt to diffuse the situation I offered to purchase and install a glass sliding door at no cost she accepted The next morning when we arrived to install she sent us away saying glass was "too hard to clean" After that she began calling asking for more options, she also had her daughter call randomly asking why we hadn't come back, when no appointment had been madeTo satisfy her and stop the daily phone harassment I went to meet with Mrs [redacted] for the fourth time, I agreed to have plumber come out reset the tub and anything else she wanted at no cost, this was what she insisted on so I agreed I met with plumber next morning to drop off materials (tile, motar, silicone,etc...) After two hours he called and said she sent him away complaining he would make dust if he pulled out the tubAfter her sending him away we never heard from her again until this libelist statements she made in this complaintThis has cost our company countless labor hours leaving jobs to meet with her as well as paying installers to go to her home and be sent awayWe have been made out to be the bad guys when we have done everything possible to rectify the problem only to be badmouthed on internetI have photo evidence of the tub sitting as level as possible knowing it has been pulled and put back times prior to us even entering her home

I had a great experience working with Chuck and Adam at NBT They were very accommodating in working with my design ideas and budget Also when I recently had a minor issue with my shower they responded promptly to come back and fix my issue almost one year after completing my project I highly recommend NBT

Bathtub installed unlevel permitting water from shower to leak onto floor and into ceiling below Company acknowledged poor installation and promised to fix the problem and level the tub properly They have not followed up with me and this project was taken on by this company nine (9) months ago There has been a great deal of damage to the bathroom floor and the ceiling below I paid this company in full ($3000) and have been left with an unfinished project I am angry and devastated by the treatment of this company I see no other options other than taking legal action against this company

NBT did a great job with our new bathtub/showerThe guys are super friendly and professionalThey didn't seem to mind that our crazy dog got in their way occasionallyThey kept our place clean by placing coverings on our floorThey demoed our old tub/shower and took it to the dump themselvesThey also installed insulation between our outside wall, as our older home did not have any previouslyThey are reasonably pricedThe job did take a little longer than anticipated and we were not charged extraThere were no surprises or any hidden feesI would definitely recommend these guys if you're wanting to remodel your bathroom

I hired NBT after a first remodel to a bathroom was left a disaster with an unlevel new tub and unlevel new flooring.  NBT was the second and last remodelers to work on this bathroom (not the third).  NBT promised they would correct these problems.  Upon finishing the project and after I had paid in full, I noticed the tub faucet was leaking due to the caulking having come apart forcing the faucet out of the wall.  I called and they fixed the problem.  I also pointed out that the new tiles surrounding the 2 feet around the tub were shabbily installed by NBT.  They inspected them and said I was right and that they had fired the man who installed them because "he didn't know what he was doing.  I didn't have the entire surround of the tub retired because they were going to charge me an extra $1600 and I didn't have the money.  Also, I did not use a Brillo pad on the new tiles, being an intelligent woman I would never do that.  The first shower I took (not my grandson) I discovered water leaking from the tun just as before NBT reset the tub - the tub was still unlevel and leaked no matter how secure a shower curtain was.  I called NBT ([redacted]) and he came over with a plumber they had just hired.  Upon inspection of the tun, both the plumber and [redacted] agreed it was still unlevel and leaking.  [redacted] was upset and said to me with the plumber present, "I bet you could kill me."  After much consulting back and forth as to the best way to fix the problems, I felt the project should be done as promised and as paid for.  I had also told them from the beginning I didn't want a shower door.  The plumber came to my home with the intention of tearing out the tub and releveling and replacing tiles so we decided to both reconsider what to do that would be least destructive.  He said he would make this right and call me the following week.  He even gave me a hug and said not to worry.  I have never heard from him or the company since that day.  My calls were unanswered and not returned.  They admitted their mistakes but did  not correct them.  I have attached pictures showing the tub still leaks, the leak has gone through to the ceiling below, the bad tiles, caulking coming apart and mold coming through around the tub and down the edge of the tub where it is leaking.  I want a splash guard installed and new tiles installed or I want my $3000 returned.  I will style for nothing less.  I am 74 years old and recently retired from [redacted] law firm after 25 years.  I have no doubt that the 2 partners I worked with would gladly verify my credibility.  I have never filed a complaint before in my life.  I put a lot of trust in [redacted] and am disappointed - he was always very kind to me.  Also I might mention to Mr. S[redacted] that my name is not "[redacted]" but [redacted].

We at NBT are shocked by these statements, our company has and always will provide excellent customer service.  We are the third contractor this woman hired to fix her bathroom.  From the first meeting she refused our suggestions (replace all tile in surround not just ones that were ripped...

out by previous contractor that pulled tub and never came back as well as replace old tub because the deck wasn't flat).  She wanted a simple repair done to surround and didn't want to wait for matching tile that would have to be ordered.  Her concern was getting bathroom functional for her grandson approx. 10 yrs old that had been sharing her bathroom. After job was finished she  paid in  full and was happy with job 2 weeks later she called about problem with grout she had scuffed and discolored white grout with a brillo pad, we gladly came out next day and repaired marks.  Around 2 months later she called saying the drain was leaking we came out and inspected and there was no leak.  It was then I noticed she had a short cloth shower curtain that was allowing water to escape while the before mentioned child was using shower.  Mrs. [redacted] got mad saying the curtain was expensive and blamed our workmanship.  I returned next day with a plumber who looked at the tub and determined it was less than 1/16th of an inch from persect and needed a curtain that stopped water not absorbed water.  Mrs. [redacted] called next day yelling me that plumber said it was my fault that never happened.  in an attempt to diffuse the situation I offered to purchase and install a glass sliding door at no cost she accepted.  The next morning when we arrived to install she sent us away saying glass was "too hard to clean".  After that she began calling asking for more options, she also had her daughter call randomly asking why we hadn't come back, when no appointment had been made. To satisfy her and stop the daily phone harassment I went to meet with Mrs. [redacted] for the fourth time, I agreed to have plumber come out reset the tub and anything else she wanted at no cost, this was what she insisted on so I agreed.  I met with plumber next morning to drop off materials (tile, motar, silicone,etc...) After two hours he called and said she sent him away complaining he would make dust if he pulled out the tub. After her sending him away we never heard from her again until this libelist statements she made in this complaint. This has cost our company countless labor hours leaving jobs to meet with her as well as paying installers to go to her home and be sent away. We have been made out to be the bad guys when we have done everything possible to rectify the problem only to be badmouthed on internet. I have photo evidence of the tub sitting as level as possible knowing it has been pulled and put back 3 times prior to us even entering her home.

These statements are libelist and untrue as were Mrs. [redacted]s original complaint. We agreed to fix whatever she wanted because it's under warranty, I provided pictures of an orange 4' level showing the tub is warped making a perfectly level install impossible, the second photo shows the tub is less than 1/16 off that is as close to perfect as we could get without replacing completely. No one was fired that worked on her bathroom and she has made no attempt to contact our company since she sent away the last serviceman that we sent there. She has accepted all of our options to make this situation acceptable then decides to refuse on the morning work is to be performed costing us time and money every time to the point it seems intentional. We are more than willing to help any of our customers when they have legitimate problems however Mrs. [redacted] has made no attempt to contact myself(Adam H[redacted]), Chuck S[redacted], or our office at anytime in the past 7 months. The claims that her calls go unanswered are lies, the statement that I fired the installer that did her tile is ridiculous( I did the tile myself), we didn't do any plumbing in her shower just put the trim kit back on but never serviced or installed plumbing, she was told in the beginning that the existing tile is glued on 20 year old drywall that had swelled over the years she accepted that we use cement board a much better product and that it wouldn't match perfectly( the tile she had us remove didn't match either), we've never admitted to any mistakes but are merely willing to make customer happy. Mrs. [redacted] should call our office and schedule a legitimate appointment we'd be happy to come out and rectify the situation but she hasn't attempted this just took to embellishing stories and posting them on the Revdex.com website even though they are false I have witnesses and phone records to prove that her statements are not truthful.

I have not been given any solutions from NBT to reject or accept.  All of NBT's responses have been paragraphs of angry words calling me a liar.  The tub is not warped - I have no idea where that came from.  The company stressed that [redacted] had an engineering degree and if there is a problem with the tub that is causing the leaks, as an engineer [redacted] would have certainly been able to discover it.  I asked them and paid them to stop the leaks in my bathroom coming from the tub and if they found a problem with the tub, they were obligated to tell me and to come up with a solution to stop the leakage. A company does not walk away from a job installing a bathtub when they are fully aware there are still leaks coming from that bathtub. My attorney has advised me not to sign off on this complaint with the Revdex.com until there has been an agreed upon solution.
