Dear Revdex.com I purchased the first week of june a 3 package deal at NC Laser Fat Loss of Cary costing $179.00 for laser lipo sessions. Their signs everywhere in the office and info that was told to me was that I would lose up to 4 inches in my waist in up to 21 days. it is now July 16 and I still have not lost 1 inch! The advertising is not true and I am a little concerned with the entire procedures all together. I was sat down and asked a few health questions, measurements were taken and I was then hooked up to the "lasers" After about 20ish minutes, I was then placed on a scale like contraption that "shook me" for 10 minutes. "to help loosen the fat cells that were just zapped" I was told for this to "work" that I needed to come every 2 days for the 3 sessions. I did that. I have drank water like instructed and watched what I ate. I am not a large person to begin with but needed to lose a few inches in my waist. I was told this would be just what I needed. After reading some on line comments about this company tonight, and not getting any answers after I have emailed Ms. [redacted], I felt my next step was to contact you for help and possibly help anyone else that may be mislead by this false advertising. At this time, I am requesting a full refund. Please check this business out and make sure that others aren't being mislead by ads, posters, information given to them. If I do not get a refund (wouldn't dare come back to get services for something that is obviously a scam) then I will proceed with the [redacted] Eyewitness Complaint Dept at ABC and I plan to go to small claims court where I have been told I can get reimbursement for any attorney that I may need to hire for information on this case. I am confident that with ALL the complaint letters on line about the services you are peddling..that I will win my case. So..I guess at this point the decision is yours as to how to proceed. Service not provided due to appointment time not kept. Seeking refund from the company.Problem date - 7/22Purchase date - 7/16Payment amount - $300Payment method - [redacted] Debit ([redacted])I called in regarding the program that they offer and was told that I was able to have the services completed during my lunch hour (office is about 10 minutes away). I paid over the phone and scheduled my first appoinment. I arrived and the customer 2 ahead of me was still getting her lasering done. There was no way I was able to wait for the next person and then go myself. She rescheduled and said I would get a confirmation email. I never received an email. Finally, I decided to call in and request a refund. She never called me back in reply to the voicemail I left. I called again and she said she would reach out to her boss. I hadn't received a response so this past Saturday I called again and she said her boss was hard to reach and that she would try again. She claimed that the services were not overbooked and that people needed extra assistance since it was their first visit. I looked on [redacted] (where I saw the offer, but I purchased directly through her) and there were nearly 700 purchases. 700 people will need longer appointment times because it will be their first and there's only one lasering room. That should have been taken into consideration and I would call that overbooking. Each session must be completed within 3 days for it to be effective. I was supposed to have 6 sessions. If my first session is over scheduled, how can I rely on them to not overschedule my others. Thus, making the service I paid for ineffective if I can't come within 3 days of each other. I don't want any parts of this and I would just like my money refunded. Furthermore, right after this purchase my card number was compromised and turned off. Obviously I can't prove how it was compromised, but the other two purchases that were recent were large box stores so I feel as though I would have been notified if [redacted] and [redacted] had been hacked. Desired SettlementI just want a refund of the $300 I paid.Business Response We apologize once again that you had to wait due to back ups. That is something that is not in our control.
