NC Transmission

I purchased, about a year ago, a card that has no expiration date printed on the card with various services. I even asked the saleswoman and she stated it has no expiration date. I called last Tuesday, 5-26-15 to schedule an oil change & rotation. They told me to come in Friday, 5-29-15 at 10:00am and they decided that the card would expire 6-1-15. I was never notified of the expiration date. About 8:30 am on that Friday they called me and stated that only two mechanics showed up for work and they would not be able to get to it. Then they went on to ask me if I could come in at 10:00 am on June 1, 2015. I asked if the card would still be good. They replied YES. When I got there the man that scheduled the appointment talk to the owner and explained that he had requested that I come in Monday and told me the card would still be good as he had to cancel my appointment as a result of a shortage of personnel. The owner, [redacted], stated to him that they would not honor the coupon and would not talk to me in person. This a very poor way to run a business. In August of 2013, NC Transmission indicated to Carolina Promotions to cease and desist presenting the Neighborhood Special Coupon for sale.NC Transmission received no funds for the sale of this Neighborhood Special Coupon sold by Carolina Promotions.Mr. [redacted] received an oil change on his vehicle and declined the opportunity for follow up services or maintenance on his vehicle. NC Transmission has publicly posted notice of the cancellation of the coupon and placed information in social media and advrertising that the coupon would end as of 01 June 2015.Mr. [redacted] has not paid NC Transmission for anything which can be refunded. The value of the discounted services he did enjoy is well over any investment he made in purchasing the Neighborhood Special Coupon.
