Hello,

I received an alert that an account was being added to my credit report by Commonwealth Financial. I research the company's contact information online and called them. I was told about an account that had be resolved previously resolved. I tried explaining it to the rude lady who did not warn that this call is from a debt collector & any information will be used for that purpose. She gave me the account # of [redacted] and the fax #. I informed them that I had not received a notice &/or was not informed of this debt prior to placing it on my credit report. I called back to ask for the original creditor's information. I was told, "the only information we have is that it's [redacted] emergency." I called [redacted] who directed me to the company, who handled the physicians billing in 2009. They confirmed the account had been resolved.

Commonwealth Financial appears to be a affiliated to NCO financial who tried this before and I had to go through this same tedious process. They violated my rights by not contacting me prior to allow me a chance to inform them that it had been resolved before placing this on my credit report. I am requesting that this information is researched AGAIN, since the companies appear to be related, and removed from my credit report immediately.
