The business has responded Please see below: We thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint from our customer, [redacted] *** We would like to thank her for her participation in the March of Dimes fundraiser that we did last year As she correctly stated, our fundraiser featured pictures of children as fairies Our sitting fee was deeply discounted to $for the session and included a free x image This is from our cost of $for a fairy session Also, one hundred percent of the sitting fees collected were donated to the March of Dimes We are in agreement that she did receive all three promotional x 10sFollowing the fairy portrait session [redacted] participated in a sales session where she chose an additional package of images, again the proceeds of which were to benefit the March of Dimes Our standard for hand retouched art portraits, which these were, are six to eight weeks We also have a no refund policy stated on the sales materialsWhen [redacted] then proceeded to dispute the sale with her credit card company, we fully cooperated with the investigation They determined that since there was a no refund policy, and [redacted] ***'s products had been ordered, she was not entitled to a reversal of charges We went through the same process a second time Each time the credit card company removed the monies from our account during the duration of the investigation Again, they came to the same conclusion By this time her finished products were in houseWe have fully cooperated twice with credit card investigations that have upheld our position We have retouched all of the images, ordered and paid for the products and have made the donation of the proceeds to the March of Dimes, in conjunction with all other proceeds from sales of fairy portraits, totaling $18, Despite these facts, we are offering to resolve this dispute by refunding [redacted] ***s payment, if she so chooses, within days
