Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regardless of the cost that it would have cost [redacted] to repair the truck, he still sold me an unsafe vehicleI gave him opportunities to repair it and he didn'tI have been in contact with [redacted] from the DOT and I will continue with him and the Revdex.com until this gets settledI will stress again, the parts are the story and they will not lieI encourage someone to go inspect them and talk to [redacted] and his mechanics at ***'s Auto ServiceThis somehow needs to get resolved and there isn't a lot left to say about the situation unless someone is going to go view and inspect the part Regards, [redacted]

Unfortunately we do not have the necessary financing available to accommodate the requirements of her trustee's requirementsWe have told her this, and our finance company who we sub contract with has even spoke with here attorneys assistant We would like to sell her a vehicle, but again we unfortunately can't supply her with what she needsPossibly she should try another dealer We wish her good luck and no hard feelings

Tell us why here...The vehicle was completely safety inspected including a road test on 05/13/After the first test drive by [redacted] she noted a squeak , we agreed to try to find itWe spent hours trying to locate the noise, we looked at all front end parts to make sure nothing was loose and causing the squeakWe eventfully replaced two lower ball joints, a sway bar link and both sway bar bushingsAt this point there was no noise or any loose parts on the front end After the sale on 05/21/we had no communication from the customer telling us that a sqeak was back Just an FYI, [redacted] says she spoke to a ***, There is no [redacted] at that shopI spoke to [redacted] today, He said he told [redacted] that he felt the vehicle was not safe , he also told me that he was trying to "SELL" a $doller job! He also told her she could have it towed [redacted] also said he did not tell her he could move the wheel inchs but he said under one inchHe also says he did not say she should "come after me for the cost of repairs" and or that [redacted] has definite grounds to recoup her moneyI have a call into [redacted] , Investigator for the WI DMV, I want to share with him the situation, including why some repairs were done on parts that we installed months earlierSome things to consider, The vehicle was sold with no warranty, I have all the signed paperworkWhy would ***s replace the lower ball joints when we did ? [redacted] saw the vehicle before it went to the bodyshop for minor touch up, the bill was only $which I shared with her, I showed her the copy of the bill.I don't understand that after months with no problems why she did not bring it back for us to look at? I asked for pictures, with no response Is it a possibility that [redacted] or someone driving the vehicle hit something and caused the problem on the front end? I told [redacted] that I would not pay for the repairs she had done at someone elses shopI will not refund any moneys as I feel we did nothing wrongEven though the vehicle was sold "as is" and several month's later I would have been happy to look at the vehicle , and make sure that the vehicle was safe Sincerely, [redacted] [redacted] , ***@ [redacted] motors.com

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
The squeak has been an issue since the startThe squeak is why we are hereOn May 27th the truck was dropped off at *** Motors on Rose for the second time to have the squeak repairedOnly hours passed when *** called and said *** had it fixed and the truck was ready to go. The noise was gone or hidden for about weeksI referred to the name of the repair shop as ***’s Auto and I spoke with *** at ***’s not *** at ***’s*** stands behind everything that he stated was unsafeThese repairs needed to be taken care of in order for the truck to be safe to driveHe stated that yes he wanted to do the work required to repair the truck, but by no means did he make the situation seem more pressing to “sell” me the $in repairs*** also stated that *** *** called him and told him that somebody would be coming to his shop to interview him and examine the parts removed from the truckAs of August 26th no one had contacted ***’s Auto in anyway*** said the proof is in the parts and when or if someone comes he stands behind his actions and is waiting for someone to actually look at the partsI too have paperwork and pictures in the mail to *** ***They were sent out August 25th and he should be receiving them Monday the 29th*** stated that only one ball joint was replaced, not twoThe one that was replaced by *** was installed improperly without a bootAt no point did I see the truck prior to him sending it to the body shopThe problem is, that it too was done improperly and several repainted areas are now bubblingAfter the sale of the truck on May 21st I did contact *** about the squeakI contacted him on the 21st as I left his lot with it and then I called him again the 25th to schedule a time to drop it off for him to have it “repaired”The truck was at his shop on the 27th of MayI have phone records if neededWhen the squeak returned I wanted to take it to a mechanic that could find the real problemAt no point did *** ask for picturesIf he had shown any interest I would have certainly sent him the picturesNo, the vehicle has not “hit” anything that would have caused this type of damageThe parts are simply worn out and should have easily been noticed in a safety inspectionThe vehicle has only been driven on city streetsYes, *** has refused to take any responsibility for anything *Missing the problem on the first safety inspection *Not even looking for it when asked *Putting a band-aid on it in order to “sell” it *Having an inadequate “touch-up” job done on the paint *Most importantly, putting myself and other drivers at risk! I realize *** doesn’t want to take responsibility for the repairs, however taking it back AGAIN for “repairs” seemed like a waste of timeHe already showed me that he either didn’t want to fix it properly or was incapable of doing soYes, the vehicle was sold “as is”However, the “squeak” I later learned was due to the vehicle being extremely unsafe and Wisconsin law does require vehicles to be safe when they’re sold! All safety issues that *** was unable to detect have now been repaired properlyWith these repairs and now bodywork needing to be redone properly this vehicle has become far more than the $vehicle I had purchasedIf I had wanted a $vehicle it certainly would not have been this truckI am not asking for anything more than what I have monetarily invested in the vehicle in order to make it safe I just want my money backNothing more Regards,
*** ***

As [redacted] stated we are going round and round without getting anything accomplished. As I also stated before, I feel that we have done nothing wrong . Since [redacted] decided not to notifie us that after 3 weeks a noise started, and then waited another 3 MONTHS , to take the vehicle to a " reputable " mechanic and making the decision to spend and take advice from [redacted]S, ALL WITHOUT CONSULTING US, THEN UNFORTUNATLY there will be NO compensation on our part. I believe after the investigation by the WI DOT, [redacted] Automotive will be cleared of all and any accusations made by [redacted] and [redacted]s Auto. [redacted] may want to get another agency involved for replacing parts that did not need replacing, ( like the ball joints we already replaced , that [redacted]s said were bad?) Or the tie rod end that costs a repair shop $18.10 that [redacted]s sold [redacted] for $131.88, FYI, the ball joints we replaced already [redacted]s charged [redacted], a total of $708.22 for those to be replaced.

Unfortunately we  do not have the necessary financing available to accommodate the requirements of her trustee's requirements. We have told her this, and our finance company who we sub contract with has even spoke with here attorneys assistant.  We would like to sell her a vehicle, ...

but again we unfortunately can't supply her with what she needs. Possibly she should try another dealer.  We wish her good luck and no hard feelings.

Tell us why here...The vehicle was completely safety inspected including a road test on 05/13/2016. After the first test drive by [redacted] she noted a squeak , we agreed to try to find it. causing the squeak. We eventfully replaced two lower ball joints, a sway bar link and both sway bar bushings. He also told her she could have it towed. [redacted] also said he did not tell her he could move the wheel 2.5 inchs but he said under one inch. He also says he did not say she should "come after me for the cost of repairs" and or that [redacted] has definite grounds to recoup her money. I have a call into [redacted], Investigator for the WI DMV, I want to share with him the situation, including why some repairs were done on parts that we installed 3 months earlier. Some things to consider, The vehicle was sold with no warranty, I have all the signed paperwork. Why would [redacted]s replace the lower ball joints when we did ?[redacted] saw the vehicle before it went to the bodyshop for minor touch up, the bill was only $350.00 which I shared with her, I showed her the copy of the bill.I don't understand that after 3 months with no problems why she did not bring it back for us to look at?
