***DOCUMENT ATTACHED [redacted] Good afternoon ***, It was a pleasure speaking with you earlier today and I'm sorry for a the phone tagHere are the pictures as I had statedPlease let me know if you have any questions or need anything further.The first picture shows the stump with a few roots showing around the base of the tree that are good size.The second picture shows the stump flat with the mulch over the topBecause the grinder takes the stump down 4-inches the mulch is spread over the whole both as a safety hazard and a better presentationThis Customer choose to keep the mulch so we took a few wheelbarrels full to their back pasture (at no extra cost) and left the rest in the hole as discussedThe dirt you'll see exposed on the right is from Chase taking an ax to the smaller roots that were underground, attaches to the larger roots we ground down and ripping them out, yet another item that was done complimentry.The last few pictures are what it looks like when we went back for our meeting on 7-13-You can see roots dug out all the way to the road and around the stump where there were none in the very first picture.Thank you,Kelsey

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The job estimate clearly states remove roots throughout the front yard ground down and smoothed outIt was discussed in detail and agreed uponLook at the roots in the first pictureThose are the same roots that are exposed for Chase to grind as agreedNothing was complimentary it was agreed upon and paid forGrindings were to be removed not spread out to cover rootsSafety is not hiding the roots its grinding as agreed in writing on estimate. Last photo clearly shows roots remaining exposed even beyond the stump area where grindings were spread out to coverEstimate also states Smooth ground out and make levelPicture shows mulch clearly in a large moundThat was only one stump areaHe left roots in other stump areas of front yardI gave him the opportunity to correct the omission, was accused of agreeing it was satisfactory as my wife was shown job in pouring rain and said it looked goodThen accused of excavating the roots even after pointing out grass growing around them which was the ground level before being covered upOffered to pay an extra amount of $just to get it completed and was refused and demanded moreCost me $for renting a grinder and hours labor to complete the job I had already paid Nearing Stump Grinding to performThey should reimburse the costs to complete the job at a minimum.Threats to attempt to blacklist me on their facebook page review clearly shows the defensive attitude this business has chosen to adopt for customer complaints. Nearing's Stump Grinding & Debris Removal LLC***, what you are doing is wrong and unethicalWe will certainly be telling all of the other contractors we work with to beware of youWe completed the job in a timely manner, worked through the rain AND when we were finished we had your wife, Angi, do a walk through with us to make sure everything was done to your satisfactionShe was thrilled with all the work that was done at a discounted price (especially compared to the other bids you received)We went above and beyond to take all the piles of mulch out to your back pasture at no extra cost even though it added hours to the jobOnce the job was completed you decided to level the front yard which is why the roots are now exposedThe fact that you can see the shovel marks on the roots and the sod is piled all around the roots proves that you dug them all out and are upset that we won't do them for freeThis is the before and after picture showing the job COMPLETED (you'll even notice the "dug" out areas where we literally used the ax to cut out ALL roots exposed that we're too small to spend the time grinding)!!
